I use something else for my black tank, but I use this in my gray tank for my 5th wheel trailer. I always buy more when I run out... That should say something.I wish it was cheaper though.

I’ve been an RV’er for over 20 years and this is the best black tank treatment I’ve found. It does a great job of controlling odor and breaking down waste without using harmful chemicals. Using subscribe & save provides the best price I’ve found anywhere.

I have been using this product for months now to keep the black tank on our motorhome from smelling really bad! I have used many other similar products but this one I have kept using because it works well! I recommend it!

When we empty the black tank we add 3 oz of this product. We have been using it for about 2.5 years and are very happy. The scent is not strong and keeps the orders of the black tank away. We do (and is important) clean the black tank every 6 months. We buy the big bottle to save money.

We have tried most of the products to help prevent black tank smells and sewer gases. This is the best buy far. I normally use more than called for though. I pour about a 1/2 a cup down each sink and shower to make sure the traps are full. Pour a cup or two down the toilet, and pour about 1" or 2" in the toilet to make sure the seal stays moist. No more sewer gas smells at all when traveling. This stuff is a thicker than water and seems to stay in the traps better while traveling to prevent any gases from escaping. I normally use a gall or so over a camping season, which I will happily use to prevent any unpleasant smells.

If you're searching for a Portable toilet water treatment, search no more! I'm not usually moved to give raving reviews for products in general, but after trying PortaPaks(horrible and NOT MEANT FOR PORTABLE TOILETS, JUST RV's) and Campo Fresh(not much better) for my Dometic portable toilet, which is kept indoors, I just have to say that this BEST Portable Treatment! Does exactly what it says it will do. Fantastic, yet very faint, scent. I just want to add that If you notice a smell at all after a long time has passed before you've emptied and cleaned the toilet, then just add a little more of this and it does the job! Fantastic.

Anyone who has an RV buys chemical for the toilets wants chemical that is going to minimize the stink that the black tanks can generate (between trips, in hot weather, etc. etc.). We've many, many chemical brands in the 20+ years that we've been RVing and the Camco TST Ultra-Concentrate Lavender Scent RV Toilet Treatment has consistently worked the best for us. The lavender scent isn't even strong enough for you to notice but the chemical does it's job with as little black tank smell as possible. Highly recommend.

Originally started with the Orange scent, which was nice enough and provided some masking. Thought Lavender would be even stronger, but for some reason they went with a very weak and faint scent that doesn't mask anything so I returned it. I have also since tried the "Porta-Paks" brand and they are incredible compared to these Camco liquids. The pods completely deodorize to the very end without topping up (nice strong bubble gum like scent), and completely liquify what was in the tank making the emptying process much more pleasant!

We are a bit concerned that the seal had been broken.Maybe this was done when crossing the border if this is an imported product.Nevertheless will not order again . This was the second time we ordered the firs was returned by carrier because it had leak , probably again due to broken seal

Lavender? What lavender? Don’t smell a thing except urine in my portable toilet even after using 2x as much as recommended. This stuff is horrible & a “waste” of money. Yes, pun intended. I’m going back using to Porta Pacs.
