Good Boom Arm
The boom arm has a good build to it. It holds my audio technica atr2100x really well. Perfect boom arm if you have small space on your desk.

Almost perfect but fundamentally flawed - ended up returning it.
I loved this boom arm; nice solid quality and whilst close to being perfect I ended up returning it for two reasons:One: Why have they not put a serrated disc type fixing at the base of the boom arm? What you actually have is a simple clamping action based on how much you tighten the screw and it felt like I was about to overtighten and break it. Two interlocking serrated plates would give a much better connection. The mic I use is an AT-2020, so not the heaviest, but it never seemed to stay in place with the boom arm fully extended. Two: Even fully extended, the boom arm was just too short even with it being fixed close to where I sit at my desk. Another 50mm-100mm would have made all the difference here.Whilst I have now ended up buying a more traditional boom arm, I really loved the Samson MBA18, so was a bit sad to return it – it just didn’t work for me.

It looks good, but struggles with standard weight
I use a Rode NT2 condenser mic which weighs 1.9kg. It also uses a shock mount which I'm unsure of the weight. This mount can only hold 2.5kg, so it really struggles to hold the mic in place. I got there in the end, but if I touch this thing, it'll drop. I'm going to see how it is in the morning. If I find my mic resting on my keyboard, it'll be sent back and I'll update the review. You would have hoped a mic arm would be able to hold a mic and a shock mount.Update: Had to send the stand back as it could cope with the weight of a mic and shock absorber

This is perfect
Needed a mic arm to attach to my desk while filming a different angle for youtube videos and this is perfect to hold a small pencil mic. LOVE the fact it's so small and light. I'm surprised there aren't more stands like this here on Amazon but I guess with this one there is no need for alternatives!

It works well.
I got this cuz I make videos, and this product works perfectly for me. I can suggest it to all of you 100%. I can tell it's made of quality material tbh.

Good in principle, but doen't hold heavy mics
the idea is good, but it is not strong enough for heavy mics.
