IP Man: Kung Fu Master

The ip man series is excellent Dennis to is superb as ip man, as a officer in the police force he is harassed and his superiors are somewhat good people, enough, please watch a clip of this excellent movie

It was an ok movie, i'm a big fan of IP, even though I gave it a 4 start the movie was still ok but didn't wow me like the others. I still liked it though.

4 out of 5 stars because no one comes close to Donnie Yen; still lots of action and surprises in plot. I would watch again. RIP Master Yen

If you follow Ip Man movies and own the Donnie Yen’s movies and the one with the same actor as this one Dennis To (the one who plays young Ip Man as a prequel to Donnie Yen movies) then you could add this one to your collection. The fights are pretty good, story is not as good as the first one (Ip Man: The Legend is Born) but is quite entertained.

This Ip Man is so confusing I couldn’t tell what the hell was going on. literally. it’s the worst one yet.the one fight scene in the ring that we’ve come to know is so lame. don’t get it at all.it’s way shorter than the previous ones that’s what makes it just boring.the thing with Asian movie nothing is being explained at all. people just appear out of nowhere. like theydid here. like why? I just don’t get it at all. I can’t keep guessing what’s going on all the time.I remember the first one with Donnie Yen when he told the Japanese General he’ll fight Ten guys.but this one shows he’s fighting about fifty guys. oh I kid you not. It's a good movie, but it's long and not much of a story that make sense , as for action movies it's okay, the actor that was doing Ipman in the movie is good but he was better in my point of vue in the movie when Ipman was younger and was learning still good to do him but not as much today , and sadly at some point the movie start getting long and boring . Some will like it and some won't but it is worth looking at least once if you do like the movies of Ipman !

Passionnée de films d'arts martiaux en général et notamment des 4 films IP man, ce film est malheureusement en toute objectivité, uniquement commercial... Je dis rarement du mal des films d'art martiaux mais les quelques scènes de combat sont moyennes et l'histoire est bof et ennuyante avec ce gang des haches.. le doublage français est limite , l'acteur principal manque cruelle de charisme.. ainsi que tout les autres acteurs heureusement que je l'ai payé que 3e .La méthode pour filmer est différente et assez spécial, on aime ou on aime pas.Si vous aimez les films d'art martiaux,je ne vous le conseille absolument pas..

On ne peut pas dire que ce soit le meilleur film du siècle, ni même de la décennie, et ce n'est certainement pas le meilleur film sur le personnage (je dis personnage car nous sommes là dans la fiction complète, comme l'écrasante majorité des productions basées sur le personnage historique), mais bon, je l'ai apprécié tout de même.Je regrette que certaines scènes d'action soient filmées comme elles le sont, et certains choix scénaristiques sont franchement ridicules et inutiles (cette histoire de masque...), mais je savais ce que j'achetais.
