I love this garlic press! It works well for mincing garlic, but the best part is the trigger pull wiper blade, that easily cleans the minced garlic off of the press. On top of that, cleanup is a breeze. The cleanup tool works great for clearing the press chamber, and is perfect for clearing the holes. The best part is, it snaps snugly in the handle, so it doesn't get lost. I give it high marks for function and ease of use!

I always prefer stainless steel but this tools is superior in my view for several reasons despite that. First the clove chamber design is large, holding up to two large cloves if desired and not the tube style which is way more difficult to access whnn cleaning. Plus in addition with this easier access style this press comes with a separate cleaning tool that works extremely well for the easiest hole cleaning ever. I first use it to press out the holes from the outside, then use the bent tip on the inside to easily remove that pressed out leftover part instead of me usually having to struggle with my fingertip. Next the holes are also slightly larger and much easier to press and to clean than other presses I have had and the wiper tool is nifty and works well. Next I really like the feel of the flat style handles much better than other steel presses I have had. So you all that might quickly overlook this superior press because it is plastic I highly recommend it and you will thank me especially if you are like me when it comes to the plastic.

I love this garlic press! It's the best I've ever owned. The scraper works really well and is so convenient. It's big enough to fit large cloves of garlic. I've even put multiple cloves in at the same time. I don't even need to peel it. It pushes the garlic through and leaves the peel behind. The built-in cleaner tool makes it easier to clean too. Another thing I like is the slots for the garlic to press out are a little on the larger side. I read a study that said that larger slots yield tastier garlic for some reason. I previously had an OXO garlic press, but this one is much better. I like OXO stuff, but their garlic press was a little too small to fit big cloves and didn't have all the built in cleaning stuff and scraper. If I was going to knock this garlic press for something, it would be that metal would be better than the plastic frame. Don't get me wrong, the plastic is not bad, and I'm able to get a good solid press with it. But there's just a little give in the plastic when you're squeezing it, whereas the metal OXO gives just a slightly better squeeze. I still prefer this press to the OXO.

So I've used a few, and while I like the idea of a mincer, I was usually disappointed in the item itself. I usually did not like the process of using skinny handles that were not friendly to my hands or cleaning pitsy nooks and crannies that took forever. NOT with this one! I really like the nice substantial handles that still fit conveniently in the drawer, the little clean up tool really works well and is stashed securely in the handle so you don't lose it, and the cutting blade is a good quality and easy to use. Clean up was a breeze, and the handles and cutting chamber washed off easily. I was using a recipe that called for minced onions as well, and I thought why get out the whole danged food processor and then have to clean it? Yep, this little baby did one fine job on the onions too. I'm really pleased! Would definitely recommend!!

I know most people prefer metal garlic strength for durability. The plastic on this is fairly strong and durable. By far the best feature is the swipe bar to remove excess garlic without getting your fingers in it. It also has the cleaning “brush” which pokes through the holes to help clean it without much fuss. All that works great and it’s a great design. Now only if we can replicate it in metal. Our first one broke in 1 1/2 yrs, specifically the swipe bar, hence the four stars. but that didn’t keep me from getting another one. :)

If you're hardcore looking for the cheapest garlic press, you may have missed this one, but it truly deserves serious consideration. We've tried about 5 different types of garlic presses over the years - mostly the shiny metal ones that cost under $10. But none of them were worth a crap. This one ... well ... THIS one is amazing!! It can hold 2-4 cloves at once. You can leave the skin on, if you want (although it works slightly better with the skins off). It has a handy "cleaner sweeper bar" that takes off the garlic that hangs on, saves a bunch of time! It's wicked FAST! Other presses would take 2-3min to go through 5-7 cloves. This one can do the same in 30sec, or possibly even faster. The metal shredder is bigger AND sharper than other models, which makes this the winner imo. Only drawback is the design has the holes kinda pointed more 'out front' than 'straight down', so if you're not paying attention, you'll fire garlic pieces all over the counter as soon as you squeeze it. It takes a few times to remember to AIM DOWN. It's not a big deal, but the company could use a small tweak in the design. I'll likely never buy a different garlic press again, except to replace this one with an identical one. Don't waste your time (like me) and spend years trying out different brands, models, and designs. THIS ONE IS THE WINNER!!

This is a great tool for mincing garlic. The scraper option is very helpful and the tool is great for cleaning out the holes.

Not my favorite press. The angle of the press makes the garlic shoot straight out instead of down into the bowl. The swiping lever doesn’t really do much better than just wiping with your finger and then makes it more difficult to clean. It’s lightweight because of the plastic. It does the job but I think I’ll upgrade next time.

Ottimo oggetto, si pulisce molto bene e in fretta grazie anche alla spazzolina in dotazione, oggetto robusto e molto efficiente. Lo consiglio.

Encantados. Se necesita un poco de presión pero el propio plástico duro te ayuda con ello, meto dos dientes sin problemas. Tiene una palanca que te ayuda a retirla del ajo que se quede pegado en la pieza y una pieza en su interior desmontable para limpiar por dentro, recuperar todo el ajo posible y limpiarlo mejor. Fácil limpieza a mano. Plástico parace duradero, es grueso, se buena calidad. Para una persona que tenga por ej: artrosis/artritis en primeras fases le puede servir. Es más fácil de usar con la presión que otros de acero inoxidable que he probado. Posiblemente se lo quede mi madre cuando lo pruebe y compraré otro.
