The media could not be loaded. I'm happy with the microscope. It arrived in good condition.It is not difficult to assemble and use, but you have to be careful with the pieces or with a small screw that may come loose.I had some difficulties with installing the software for a Mac. What you have to do is install the latest version of the Mac software from the Amscope page and run the file. But in the end you should make sure to move the program called AmLite to your apps folder on your Mac.The video that AmLite records directly has a terrible quality. What I have done is to use the QuickTime Player and record video from the screen. I mean with the AmLite open and visualizing the sample of whatever you are observing. That's the way I've been able to record video using the microscope camera and with a pretty good quality (but not HD), see my test videos.I give it five stars because in general everything works in order, it has a good price, and to be a delicate instrument it arrived very well and fulfills the purpose for which I bought it. I just wish that in the future AmScope would improve their Mac software. But I'm a happy costumer.

I have purchased a number of AmScope microscopes and other products for myself and as gifts, and have always been pretty happy them. My friend's kids are very happy with this Siedentopf Trinocular.

It has paid for itself. My wife has a lot of random lizards that get parasites and this has saved a lot of trips to the vet.
