Great product. Strong smell so if your dog is sensitive to smells I would not get. It works well for keeping mosquitos away. You could try to lavender one. The smell is less intense.

So far it’s been working for keeping mosquitos away from me and my dog. As for ticks I’ll have to wait and see but really hoping it work as well against ticks as mosquitoes. I spray it on myself too.

Can't tell you if this works as I returned it because of the strong lemongrass smell that lingers. If you are sensitive to smells, this is not for you.

I purchased the lemongrass to spray on my dog while hiking or camping outdoors. Kin + Kind sells 2 scents, lavender and lemongrass along with lavender flea and tick shampoo. My dog likes the lavender shampoo but recently decided he does not appreciate the lavender spray as much. I ordered the lemongrass spray and he seems fine with the scent.. The lemongrass also seems to works just as well. We also spray our legs and shoes with the flee and tick spray when we are hiking. We like both the lavender and lemongrass and have not picked up any fleas or ticks even in areas with high tick concentration.

So I tried a 9 dollar one and was picking ticks off my dog like crazy. This one 4 ticks. I might not have put enough on. But very happy with it.

For the most part, the spray worked, smells good as long as not in a really buggy area. However there is no caution on the label that sates it can permanently stain some materials. I sprayed it while in my new car and it stained the plastic on the exterior of my car. I emailed them and they asked for pics and then never replied back after. Also, I ordered this multiple times (prior to the car damage) and they keep changing the spray nozzle but it still always fails after a short time, basically instead of spraying, just blows big random droplets out where you have to kind of rub it into your dogs fur. I would not recommend this product especially if you travel and may spray it anywhere near your car. Plus if you an issue, there’s no support. This was about a year ago and the stains are on multiple areas of my car and never came off.

It smells very nice. Not overbearing or anyway a problem. Easy to put on and non-intrusive for the dogs tender noses. This is a good product. I highly recommend it. FYI I have a toy long haired Chihuahua. And no more fleas! Yay.
