e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration! Daily Cleanser, Face Cleanser For Washing Away Excess Oil, Impurities & Makeup, Made With Hyaluronic Acid, Vegan & Cruelty-Free

Since I started using various e.l.f. products to cut costs, I decided to try the Daily Cleanser to see how it stacks up to my current cleanser that is almost empty. My skin has a tendency to go from dry to oily seemingly overnight (most likely due to weather changes & humidity) and sometimes referred to as “combination” skin. I am not a heavy makeup user so there’s no eye shadow, liner or mascara to remove on a daily basis (just foundation, brows/cheeks/lips makeup plus any pollution accumulation). None of my makeup is designated as “waterproof” so the difficulty level to remove makeup is not high. The cleanser itself has a very slight neutral scent and lightweight gel to foam texture that is not too thick or too runny. I squeezed about a nickel size amount to have my face fully lathered up and foamy. Using only my hands, there was no need for sponges or cloths to scrub or remove makeup and dirt. The foam & ingredients are not abrasive so it is safe and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without burning, redness, or irritation. My skin doesn’t feel oily/greasy afterwards, but it also does not feel tight and dry like all my natural oils have been stripped out as some users have reported. It’s hard to explain, but it leaves my skin feeling clean yet balanced, just not clean and invigorated as I'm used to (both of which are good). I guess it depends on your type of skin, the condition of your skin when you start off using the product, and what you’re accustomed to.Overall, you can’t beat the $6 price tag for a facial cleanser that is gentle on your skin, actually cleans and removes dirt/oil & makeup, and also hydrates. Of course, this is only one step in your skincare process and not the only step in the process. If you have dry skin you’ll need to followup up with your daily moisturizer and if you have very oily skin to use an astringent/toner before moving forward. I’m relatively new to using e.l.f. skincare products, but I am impressed with what they’ve accomplished quality wise while keeping their products at an affordable price point for all of us. 5 Stars!!!P.S. The product is 100% “cruelty free”.

This cleanser is great!!! Lathers well and it just takes a dime-size amount. Smells clean and great value for the price!!!

I was looking for an inexpensive (up to $15) facial cleanser. It needed to clean my t-zone without drying out my skin. I googled and searched Amazon and couldn't find anything. I remembered hearing good things about an ELF cleanser, but my skin is complicated... Finally, I just went for it. ELF Holy Hydration Daily Cleanser is everything I wanted. Gentle, unscented, clean, and moisturizing.I used it this morning in the shower. I usually still have oilyness in my T-zone after washing, but the eyelids and nose creases were not oily - just normal. I didn't need to attack my face with Seabreeze, AND there were no dry flakes. Usually, it takes me 15 minutes and multiple moisturizers to get rid of the dryness. Not this time.I love ELF products; most of them are hits, but there is an occasional miss. They continue to improve with each new product, and this is another hit! Thank you, ELF. I needed this!

I have pretty sensitive skin that gets tight and dry with most cleansers. I decided to try this one out 3 weeks before my wedding, which was a bold move for me since I am prone to break outs and redness. However, the reviews convinced me I was going to be okay, and I was! This cleanser suds up a lot and cleans really well without making my skin feel too tight. It does still feel a little tight before I put on a moisturizer, but less so than I’ve experienced with other cleansers. It doesn’t cause any redness or irritation for me, and I haven’t noticed any dryness on my face. I haven’t seen any improvement in my skin’s texture like I was hoping I would, but I think this is a solid choice as a cleanser. I can build my routine off of this one as my base which is exciting to say. 4 stars because I feel like with a name of “holy hydration” my face shouldn’t feel even a little tight, but it’s honestly so minimal it’s whatever. This is still a keeper.

Only need a dime size amount to cleanse your whole face. Product definitely long lasting. Ingrown contain hyaluronic acid and ceramides so it gives you the fresh feeling instantly after rinsing off your face. I was hesitant because i have sensitive skin but the cleanser didnt dry out my skin. 10/10 if you ask me ! highly recommend

Fantastic product ! You will not regret buying this product . It leaves my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized. Even though the bottle is small, a little goes a long way . I wish it was sold in a bigger bottle . I love it and my girls also love it !

I have used this for years and LOVE IT! Way better than any of the more expensive cleansers. Does not dry out my skin and I always get compliments on how clear my skin looks. I typically use it 2x a day and double cleanse at night. I don’t use it to remove make up typically but I have in the past in a pinch and it works with a gentle exfoliating brush to remove it all. I love this cleanser
