After the Affair: Healing the Pain and Rebuilding Trust When a Partner Has Been Unfaithful

Horrible book. The author seems very intent on trying to place a much blame on the betrayed partner as possible. In my opinion... NOTHING a betrayed partner does ever justifies the infidelity of the unfaithful partner. The are hundreds of other avenues that don't involve cheating. Also, the use of the word "lover" for the affair partner is inappropriate to say the least and I find it very offensive. I think reading this book actually made things worse. I highly recommend NOT wasting your money or your time.

This book is complete crap ........ only about 10% of the book helps with deciding what you should actually do. The rest of the book is all about reconciling your marriage. The “trust chart” is a complete joke..... it DOES NOT help build trust ..... it basically MAKES your spouse do things that you want them to do..... not because they want to do those things. Save yourself from this horrible read!!!!!

once you get past the shock, this is a great book to read. I call it my recovery bible. It presents both sides.
