gorgeous build quality and elegant to behild. light weight as well but the flip lock is a mite harder to use and takes getting used to. Otherwise a fabulous machine!

Good and fast!

I have the 38mm and 55mm diameter sizes of the FLM ballhead.The 38 mm I use on my Zomei carbon fiber travel tripod and the 55mm on the Gitzo 3542 ls tripod. The FLM ball heads are well built and study. No slippage with camera body and lens left overnight on them.The largest lens I use on the 38mm is the canon 70-200 II 2.8 lens. I use Tamron 150-600 and Canon 200-400 II lenses on the 55mm ballhead or with a gimbal head. I use Canon full size bodies, 6D,5dsr and 1dx. The FLM ballhead maybe intimidating at first with the 5 control knobs but once you get used to the ball heads, they are easy and fun to use. If you want stability, you cannot go wrong with the FLM brand.These ballheads are not heavy yet do not compromise on stability. For the many functions of the ballhead, I will not bug you down with those.You can google independent reviews for more information.I have had my ballheads for 3 plus years and remain very satisfied with them.
