I use this all the time for both writing and sketching and producing finished drawings. I know that the perfect refill pencils are expensive, however, if you want quality then you have to pay for it and when the quality is this good then the extra expensive is worth it.

I bought this Perfect Pencil for my husband in July of 2012, and he says it's still cherished to this day. It's the finest pencil he's ever used "and ever will," he said. Lovely and smooth to write with, also good for sketching.The platinum plated Perfect Pencil arrived beautifully presented in a white wraparound case, revealing a wooden case made from alderwood. Hand-built, perfect in every way and a good investment.

Bought to replace one I sadly lost, a really lovely pencil that gets admired a lot. Great design, easy to use and looks/feels exactly as it's name...perfect.
