Don't bother
My nail problem got to the point where I went to the doctor to have to get my toenails taken care of. When I got home I figured Id get a serious pair of trimmers like the doctor had. I bought these but when I finally got to try them out, they were simply dull and hence useless. The quality seems ok but they just dont cut the nail. Im trying to figure out how to sharpen them myself.......

Are more than toenails need
Look the same as the ad. However, they are extremely heavy duty and a bit jinormous. The mister wont use them because "they are like taking side cutters off constriction site and using them to trim my nails." They are sharp. They are very well made. They are not used for nail cutting, rather I believe I am going to use them in my jewelry making.

`Uses COMPOUND leverage to cut tough toenails
My Podiatrist uses this same tool. It works with minimal effort. Easy to clean and oil the moving parts. Some toenail cutters DO NOT use compound leverage this one DOES. This makes cutting a tough toenail easy. I have both and this one gets the nod as the best there is. Keep this to yourself and wash after use and wash again with a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol on it before storage. Always keep Rubbing alcohol, fabric bandaids, triple antibiotic ointment on hand when working on feet. If you get a cut or draw blood you need to check your foot everyday a few times and always change a foot bandage daily. In fact "SOAK" your foot daily if you have a cut, then reapply Triple A ointment and a fabric bandage or have someone else do it for you.

They're ok
They look professional, just wished they came sharper. I have cheaper $1 dollar clippers that feel sharper.

A sharp medical grade tool.
The tooling is excellent. This precision implement is easy to use. I threw away all my other clippers (junk, cluttering, don't open wide enough, cumbersome to manipulate, disasters just waiting to happen).
