The Pwr+ 2.1 A Rapid Charger is able to deliver enough juice to charge my HP Touchpad, which cannot be charged by mere phone chargers. The wall unit is larger than the original HP unit, but is designed so that it only takes up 1 plug on your outlet or surge protector. The wall unit has a green to indicate it has power and to remind you to unplug when not charging your tablet.My old Touchpad does not hold a charge as well as when new, so I often watch a show with it plugged in; unfortunately this bent the little prongs on the Pwr+ that are meant to hold it in. So, it does not stay in the tablet or phone very well when they are moving around.

Bought this to try and replace the original one for my HP Touchpad- did not fool my device. Yes, it does eventually charge the device but not any more efficiently than any other micro usb charger you already have. When plugged in, the tablet still gives the message to charge with original charger. Well I would if I had it or could find a replacement HP!!! But now to get one, it costs more than the tablet.

I purchased this item to charge my HP Touchpad after loosing the OEM charger. The item is very large and gets the job done. Looking to get more device chargers from this company.

The cord is really long which is great because my outlets are fairly far apart. Definitely charges faster than the cord my HP tablet came with. Still could be a little faster.But that's in comparison to my Kindle. As I said when compared to the original cord this is a big improvement. A good buy at a good price, definitely something I recommend to buy.

It works perfect after awhile item on my tablet is saying use original equipment now 9/13/19

Well I bought a new/used Touchpad and it did not come with the charger. I found this unit and ordered it. The shipping was super fast - under two days!!! Since the pad had no charge at all, I left on the charger for just thirty minutes before I attempted to power it up. To my surprise it had about a 7/8 charge in it. I played with it for well over three hours prior to recharging. This unit is well worth it's price, so much so I am getting a second one for a backup. The 6 1/2 foot cord is a huge plus.

This was for my grandson's HP Slate 7 Plus tablet, and he is happy with it, because it charges his table quickly enough. Unlike a previous charger I puchased for him, this one does not get too hot, just a little warm, which is normal.
