Infinity Train: Book Two (DVD)

Centralizing my thoughts on Infinity Train to specifically Book Two would do it a massive disservice. Everything about this show works so perfectly and its cancellation just further proves how little the industry cares for quality product. It's not hyperbole when I say that this was a masterpiece in the making, and if it were truly finished, it would've gone down as one of the best animated works of the 21st century, and possibly even one of the best TV shows in general. The characters are all so distinct and relatable, the endless train allows each episode to have its own flair of creativity with no limitations, and the anthology format allows for each story to have its own beginning, middle, and end in the span of 10-episodes, with little to no filler. The lore of the series is dense, but the characters remain the focus, driving the plot and asserting themselves in the story with an iron fist. With both a mix of family-friendly humor and dark themes and subject matter, the show is a treat for all ages, but teens and young adults may be the ones to get the most mileage out of it. Infinity Train fundamentally changed how I view animated media, and if it doesn't get renewed, I doubt we'll ever see something like it again for a very long time.

Despite ostensibly being a show aimed at children, the first three seasons of Infinity Train are impressive meditations on core elements of the human condition, and are great for people of any age.This second season centers on MT (Mirror Tulip) and her painful journey of self-emancipation. It digs down deep on subjects of personhood, identity, and free will. MT begins the series as prisoner of a mirrored universe reflecting our own "prime" world - her existence is contingent, defined entirely by another. By her own perseverance and by the love of friends who value her and support her on the journey, she discovers a way to escape her past (and the enemies who would re-imprison her in it) and to break through impossible barriers to find lasting freedom and her true self.An incredible story, well told, highly recommended.

Great show and good quality dvds. I could only find seasons 1 and 2 available on Amazon, but the cover quality was really great. It's a basic dvd, not much more to say about that. This show aired on Cartoon Network and was surprisingly very deep and really good. It sucked us in and would sometimes make me cry. I highly recommend this show!

Infinity Train is such a good show. It's a shame that it has gone a bit unnoticed by people due to the fact that it became an online-only series after a bit. That said, it is worth the watch! And the music is so well done too!

Maybe not a great show for young kids, but an amazing show nonetheless. Disc and case came in good condition

The DVD came perfectly with no problems and it works great. Can't wait to get the rest on DVD.

The second chapter of the anime influenced animated series tells a deep meaningful story instead of characters goofing off and doing dumb antics. The show dives into characters development and heavy topic issues, learning to over come hardships. Finding your place in the world, right from wrong. Old fashioned story telling which is trying to teach you something and how to grow as a person. I really hope this series is renewed for more seasons, because it's more then just a kid's show. And One-one will always be my favorite

I just love this along with the slipcover, happy with this!

O único ponto negativo é o fato de não ter áudio ou legendas em português pelo fato de ser um lançamento exclusivo para a América do Norte. Fora isso, é um bom item de coleção e se você está cogitando comprar, você provavelmente sabe o idioma.

It came fast and in very good condition!

It’s a great series for both adults and children. Themes children can comprehend and start a conversation.
