Great buy!
Excellent Christmas gift for our train loving 7 year old grandson! Even though he's not quite old enough to understand a lot of the jargan yet, it is a book that will last him for a lot of years to come!

Appreciate even by an expert
Bought it for huge (steam) train affectionate, with literally floor to ceiling shelves and shelves of train books from all over the world, so i was understandably nervous gifting this at Christmas time. The recipient loved it and said that it had a lot of new information, some wonderful photos, beautifully photographed and well written, especially when scrutinised by an expert such as my friend. I was told it is to be highly recommended.

Superb
Lavishly illustrated book showing the evolution of locomotives over 200 years up to the present day. Special features are made of around 20 of the locos, each with 4 or 6 pages of coverage. Anyone with an interest in trains will find this book a real delight.
