Fits good, looks good. not heavy like others I have had; kind of flimsy. Easy to install and looks great

This seat is okay, not great but okay. I had recently purchased a nice wooden toilet seat. Had it about 2 months and dropped an almost empty can of air freshener on the ring of the seat and it split right in half on one side. At that point I just ordered an inexpensive seat from Amazon and as I stated, it's okay. It is slow close. It does fit perfectly on my oblong shaped toilet. But it is lightweight and kind of flimsy. But, I'm not spending the money on another wooden seat. I did purchase additional bolts or screws (whatever they're called) to replace the plastic ones that came with the seat. Those worked great.

The media could not be loaded. Quick shipping and reasonable price point at $26. Easy install, and the slow close mechanism is great as it applies to the seat as well, not just the lid cover. Just make sure you select the correct shape for your toilet. I bought an elongated (Innovative) seat which fits the Toto Drake elongated toilet. The reviews that complained about the seat not fitting often are user error, round verses elongated. The seat and cover are plastic and super lightweight so it doesn’t feel as comfortable as a more expensive or wooden seat but as a reasonably priced soft close option, this seat is great. I selected this one over some others as I want to be able to disinfect and use cleaners and this finish appears durable (other brands use a finish that is damaged with some cleaners).

This item is perfect since it is light in weight, self closing and easy to keep clean. It is priced well and another great option is, you can get delivery quickly without having to go to the stores. Always a plus.

I have an American Standard elongated toilet. The Bemis seat hinge broke. I said, " I will purchase an American Standard OEM seat as a replacement."The seat is too long AND too narrow ( other reviewers have provided photos) for an AmStan elongated toilet. Note: the Bemis seat matched the Am Stan toilet...I would say: Exactly.I would suggests that AmStan contact Bemis on how to measure and fabricate a piece of plastic into a toilet seat that matches an AmStan elongated toilet.Update:My error, I have a round toilet. However, the Amazon product listing shows an incorrect dimension for the seat. This seat IS an elongated version, but a photo with dimensions has the wrong length.In the "product image gallery" for this toilet seat, the Length is shown as 17 1/5" (Yes, 1/5...probably meant 1/4). This length is for a "Round" toilet seat...which is what I needed. American Standard needs to correct that dimension to 18 5/8" in the product image gallery ....which is the correct dimension for an elongated seat. Note: Under product details, the dimension is correctly given as 18 5/8" (therefore, two different lengths are listed for this AmStan toilet seat; different sections of the Amazon listing, display different lengths).If customers look primarily at schematics for dimensions, they will order this and then get a seat that is too long and too narrow.

This is a great toilet seat. Very comfortable. It will not slam down. It goes down slowly which is nice. Installation took only about 5 minutes. Solid plastic so it won't break like my last one did.

Honestly super disappointed in the price and quality. Easy to clean and nice functionality but man for this price the comfort is pretty awful.
