This provides a really close shave. As I've gotten older i tend to buy bougie toiletry products and this is way better than high end shaving creams. I have used it for about 3 weeks now and this will now be my only shaving gel i purchase moving forward. I highly recommend. I also bought the after shave spray and i love the smell. Leaves my face feeling soft.

Clear as can be, which helps get the sharpest lines possible. Does prevent razor burn and irritation. Smell is alright, nothing special.

I'm an avid wet shaver who shaves about 50% of the time with a de razor and 50% with a feather artist club straight razor. I have many high quality soaps and creams. While I like them all, lately I've been looking for convenient products. I've been interested in brushless creams for a few years just to speed up my shaves. I recently tried this and was pleasantly surprised. It gives a very protective and close shave. The scent is pretty good too. I would actually deduct a star because it tends to clog the de razor pretty easily, but that's not an issue when I use my straight razor. The bottle is gigantic and you only need to use a little so I imagine it will last a very long time. I find it performs best after a hot shower and a couple small splashes of water to hydrate the gel after it is applied.

I have been using Zirh brand shaved gel for years. They discontinued it sometime ago, so I’ve been paying probably way too much money to get it where I can find it, usually Ebay. I thought I would try this instead. I would say this is a very comparable replacement. It provided a close shave for my sensitive skin, was completely transparent, so easy to see where I was shaving, it left no razor burn, smells great and rinsed off of my razor easily. I’ve finally found my new shave gel!!!
