Very loud you may have to put some tape over a portion of it if it's too loud.

Wow. Very loud. Tested on a few different dc voltages ranging 3.7 to 18 Volts. At 18vdc it would be hard not to hear it. Plan on using as alarms on equipment for high temperature and low pressure.

loud beeper
Loud using 12V battery! Not excessively loud, but it can be heard from about 50 feet away. Would be nice if the wires were larger gauge to make connections easier. The wires are about 20-22 gauge solid wire which requires soldering the wires to connect them to anything. I needed to connect with spade connectors so I had to solder the wires to the connectors before I could connect to the power feed wires. I have only had them installed for about a week so I am not sure how long they will last, but for the price and getting three it was a good deal.

Buzzer is inaccurate
This is not what I would call a buzzer. It's an electronic high pitch tone. I was really looking for a buzz type noise. That's why the three stars as opposed to five. The volume is controlled by the voltage so that's kind of handy.

A good cheap car mod for anyone without an alarm
Bought these to wire in as a “lock” alarm that didn’t exist on my Toyota. Works great to add a remote lock beep to the car and good for many other uses I’m sure. I wired 2 in a series and hid the wires with the factory wire loom on the firewall of my truck. They’re pretty loud and no issues with reliability. A good cheap car mod. I saved the 3rd alarm as a backup in case one of the other 2 ever fails.
