Z Zicome Novelty Disposable Plastic Shovel Shape Dessert Spoon, Set of 50

As these are the cutest idea for my sons construction theme birthday party, they are not safe being that the black shovel end detaches from the white handle which is obviously NOT good with Toddlers being the ones using them. I do not know why they would make it so easy to come apart when this is used for food. If that was fixed then these would truly be the best addition to any party

We used these shovels as spoons for my son’s construction themed birthday party. They were a hit, and of course I had to share how affordable they were. With that great price tag comes a word of caution, especially with children - PLEASE supervise them closely while eating with these utensils. The shovel can detach from the handle when in the mouth 😬 luckily it only happened to a few of the adults at the party, but it was a pretty big red flag that I wish I had known. Tighten them down before using them, and they should be fine. A fun addition to any party centered around dirt!

What an adorable addition to our Construction themed party! These tiny shovels were an absolute hit with our party guests! The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because as cute as they are, they come apart. the shovel will actually come apart from the handle. Not a big deal as they can be pushed back together but that was our only complaint! Since they are individually sealed we didn't know this before hand. I saved a few and we just added some super glue and they are fine. Great novelty item just dont expect great quality.

These are really light weight. I think the extent you should use them for is something like a one time use for eating pudding or something. And even then I would monitor children closely if they are the ones using them. The problem is that the point where the black shovel connects to the white handle is extremely weak. The white piece gets a lot smaller to fit inside the black shovel, and that’s where it always breaks. Just be careful! Only give these to kids if they are old enough to know what to do if it breaks.

The spoon piece detaches from the handle super easily. We were not able to use them to eat from! Choking hazard for babies and toddlers! Bought them for a fun addition to my son’s construction themed bday party and after trying to use them as spoons for some dips I realized they were not going to work for the kid’s eating utensils! I would not recommend buying them!
