one of the great spin off characters from "The Tick", this covers Paul's entire 13 issue run. The story lines are all pretty strange, with some being... less that perfect, but you get everything you'd expect from the series, all tied up in one tidy package. 4 stars for the material, plus a fifth star for nostalgia.

Paul The Samurai The Complete Works brings together all 13 issues of the first Tick 'spin-off', featuring The Tick's first and most loyal ally, Paul the Samurai. The book also includes the 3-issue introductory limited series of Paul with original story line and art by Ben Edlund. The book also has all 10 issues of Paul's own continuing series, which concludes with a 2-issue crossover extravaganza guest-starring The Tick and Arthur! The book really is awesome if you love the Tick, and his sidekicks. Paul the Samurai is one of the cooler sidekicks out there, and if you are a fan of the Tick, then this comic that collects the stories of Paul the samurai are really cool to read.Overall this is a great book, but then I am a huge tick fan, and it was great to find this book because it is hard to find online. Rated 5 of 5 stars, tick fans like me will love this puppy.
