Where do you install the balance clamps ?

The plastic pieces are balance clamps. They’re used to keep the rods stationary for those that do not want them to move. Their use is optional and they are removable should you no longer wish to use them. See the included video on how to install and remove them. More information is also available under step number 6 in our instruction manual.
