will this work in portugal?

it doesnt work as advertised..it worked for me for less than 2 months then it stopped working..causing short circuit..not safe !

Are they supposed to be loud?

It is not supposed to be loud. I have had this problem with a few of mine. Trying giving it a gentle tap on a hard surface. If that doesn’t work you can take it apart and try to get the fan to sit properly in its slot or what I did was remove the fan altogether. Unit will still work but at a reduced power rate. If it overheats. It will just shut down.

iPAD and iPhone for sure. Might want to check voltage output on the hair dryer. At the very least, use it by itself as to not overload.

Will this work if i bring a playstation from america to australia?

It should. The Sony just wants to see 110V, which this will provide. Sometimes these devices have power supplies that detect anything between 110 & 210V and are fine with either.
