The boy in this photo is 4’9”. That’s the average height of an 11-year old boy, whose average weight is 85 pounds (based on measuring the photo). This kid seems to have an average body. So this photo is probably not appropriate for a pogo stick designed for 90 to 160 pounds. The average 16-year old boy, however, does weigh 130 pounds and is 5’8”. But if such a child were to ride on this pogo stick, he would find the problem that my daughter had, which is that her thighs bump the handlebars when she jumps. (She also bottoms out sometimes, but that's not a huge problem though she is 5 pounds under the design weight so it is not expected.)My 11-year old daughter weights 85 pounds and is 5’6”. After jumping a few hundred times, her thigs hurt too much to keep using this, from bumping the lower part of the handlebars. The design feature that makes this relatively sturdy, also makes it suitable for a fairly narrow height range of children. While pogo sticks are usually rated based on weight, the appropriate heights of this stick need to be clearly spelled out. If the child is too short, the handles are too high, child too tall and the handles hit the knees.The good news for some is that if your child has an average height/weight ratio and is about 80-85 pounds, or is unusually short for his or her weight and weighs 90-160 pounds, then this may be what you are looking for.

I purchased two of these for separate families. Older kids caught on very quickly. Younger kids are doing well but will have to practice to get their balance down. Well made should last them for years to come! Good physical workout for them while they are having fun!

It's taking my granddaughter a little time to get used to this but so far so good. It's one of her new favorite toys and it appears to be durable and well made. I'm certain she will be able to enjoy this for years to come and he mom even plays on it some.

It is perfect, just what we wanted. My kid plays on it everyday. I just wish it shipped faster, it took them 11 days or so for it to leave the warehouse.

I purchased this pogo stick for my 95 pound, 11 year old daughter for Christmas. I spent a long time reading reviews and trying to find a well built pogo stick. This product met all of my expectations. The spring was a little tight right out of the box but within minutes my daughter was bouncing all over the patio.

Is noisy but, my 10 yo loves to jump in it!

Good product.My daughter is about 120 lbs.she can still bottom out the spring if she's inclined to do so. But this works far better for her and her friends than the lighter pogos built for much younger children.
