Great shin guards
These r great. Protection from under knee to foot. Much better than century.

Quality you expect
Good quality, a bit bigger then expected so I’d buy small. But over all same quality as the hayabusa gloves I’ve been using the last 8 years

MMA Shinpads
A lot of negative reviews I have seen compare these to Muay Thai shin pads. These are meant to be low profile and not slide while doing takedowns, grappling, and MMA work. If you are looking for traditional shin pads used for strict kickboxing or MT work, these are NOT for you. If you want a close fitting shin pad that will not slide all over the the place, that has a low profile to be minimally obstructive during ground work, look no further!!! Note on fit/putting on: Chose a size that is slightly tight. Undo all the straps and velcro. Put the shin pad on facing the wrong way. The padded part along the calf and the sleeve along the shin. Point your toes down to slide on, using to hands to pull up. Once it is all the way on rotate the pad so that it is facing the correct way. Pad on shin, sleeve in calf. Then do the straps. To take off, reverse the process. Undo straps, rotate the pad 180°, slide off. This will ensure you can slide the pad on and off comfortably and keep a secure sit. If you try to just yank the pad on and off it will take a lot of effort and cause you tons of heartache. Cheers!

Inside top side peels to fast and it hurts the skin
The product is made of good quality and fit more or less as advertised, however, after 1 year of using them (not very frequent usage) the top part that is in the inside starts to peel out and it hurts the skin close to the knee which means the shin guards are not a very well design made.

Unorthodox strapless system is a winner
I wasn’t sure if the slip-on method would be good or bad, but after several sparing sessions and more heavy bag session’s I totally recommend this style of pad. I’m a more lightweight guy so my style involvea a lot more moving around and offlining and in/out than 200lb guys tend to do….. these shin guards do not interfere with my movement at all, while also providing solid padding for when I check kicks with my shin or deliver axe or roundhouse kicks. Also doesn’t interfere with teeps or sending out heel strikes. Easily comfortable for an hour plus session and dries quickly. If i was you i’d order a size smaller than you expect to need as you want the guards to be tight and not slide. Putting them on tip : loosen the velcro strap on top then reverse the guard so you slide it on padded side to the floor, then once on slip round 180deg and put straps in place. Faster to put on and take off than gloves tbh.

Solid protection a lil hard to put on and size chart is a lil big.
I love the quality of the product I wish I would have got a size smaller. But all in all 8/10

EXCELLENT QUALITY
My son uses these at kickboxing. He said they fit beautifully and do a great job of absorbing some of the impact when kicking. I would recommend purchasing these pads.

love then but tiny design flaw
they fit amazingly but sometimes the velcro on the inside of the shin guard rubs against the shin.

Buyers beware
Product not living up to its name. Only been using these for five months and they are coming apart at the seams. do not reccommend. Reply received from seller: just to show how little they care about their customers “ Hello, As this item is now outside of the 30 day return period, we cannot help with a return or exchange. However, if you take this item to a local seamstress or show repair location, they can fix this stitch quite easily.”

Not the product advertised
These are not the style advertised. Ordered the full back because I wanted the benefit of the sleeve, and dislike how large straps can cut into the backs of legs. Unfortunately I received a different style,(the striking guards) instead. These lack the slim fit that the sleeve style has and are not really suitable for shorter adults. The straps sit VERY high, almost higher than my knees while the foot pad extends past my toes making it more difficult to stand on balls of my feet. For reference I ordered a small. Positive is that they do offer good shock absorption. I generally really like hyabusa gear, and own a lot of their other products. but I don’t recommend ordering through Amazon.

Scratched my legs with the velcro
I actually returned them and I’m waiting for the refund and I got the open leg model, i tried them once and it was really uncomfortable, not sure if it’s because my legs are thin but definitely didn’t work for me, the velcro scratched my legs and they were not in place, I’ve used the open leg for more than 5 years and thought these could be the replacement but unfortunately didn’t work
