CLUCI Leather Backpack Purse for Women, Large Fashion Convertible Anti-theft, Travel Backpack Purses

I am obsessed with these backpack purses! I now have one for every season. My first one of a different design was the dark grey and since I already posted a more detailed review about that bag in general, I thought I would take the opportunity to compare the UTO backpack and the Cluci backpack.I had bought the UTO in red because this same version of the backpack with a flap was not available in a red or purple by Cluci. I had wanted to switch up the design and color for the holidays, so I took a chance and ordered the UTO bag since I was curious how it would compare anyway.Let me just say that both brands offer nice bags for the price point, though Cluci is now the more expensive bag at anywhere from $5 to $10, give or take. It will come down to little preferences as to which brand or bag you prefer. I will admit that I haven’t used the UTO bag for very long so I cannot comment as to the durability, but each one of the Cluci bags I have used for about three months and I haven’t had any problems with the bags at all. Zippers, seams, vegan leather, and interior lining have all held up very well.Here is where my personal preference comes in, and you will ultimately have to decide what best fits your needs overall. The UTO bag is quite a bit smaller than the Cluci bag. I don’t know if the pictures accurately show it, but, the UTO is a lot more compact. In fact, I had to leave out a few items that I usually carry with me because they wouldn’t fit properly. For most of my outings, the more compact UTO would do just fine. However, I love the space in the Cluci bags. I can bring books or even a binder if needed. If I have papers or mail I need to carry, they will not be crammed into the space. If I stop at the pharmacy or a small shopping trip, I can put those into the Cluci bag too. I had tried to fit a book into the UTO, and really the only thing that will fit with my other stuff is a smaller mass market paperback. Anything bigger is going to get damaged or bent due to the tapering at the top of the UTO. I have included pictures for reference. Overall, I prefer the Cluci bag for the size.Upon first impression out of the box, I preferred the Cluci bags over the UTO. I think the Cluci brand has a higher end look and feel to the bags. There had been absolutely no odor upon opening the Cluci bags, but there was a slight odor/chemical smell with the UTO that has since dissipated. The hardware on the Cluci is nicer, and my favorite part of these bags, the front zipper pocket is larger on the Cluci and can hold more items. It is my go-to pocket! Also, the backpack straps are reinforced on the Cluci bag…something that is missing on the UTO.However, I think the interior is a little nicer on the UTO bags. The liner isn’t as loose, it is more fitted and it has good interior zippers. One of my gripes about the Cluci bags is the straps. I do like the UTO straps better. They are soft, comfortable, and I don’t struggle with them. Sometimes the Cluci straps get twisted up in the bottom loops which can be annoying. I also didn’t like how much they slipped in adjustment, until I discovered that if I moved the slider onto the vegan leather part of the strap, they no longer slipped! Now I never have to worry about it. They stay put. However, the seat-belt material portion tends to still get twisted up at times. I’m also not a big fan of the messenger/shoulder strap on the Cluci bags so I use different ones. Not a deal breaker for me though. Both UTO and Cluci have decent water bottle holders as well. Even though the UTO is packed more full and more compact, I had no problem fitting a water bottle in the side pocket.Overall, if I had to choose one bag or brand, I would go with the Cluci backpacks. They are nicer in quality and appearance, and the size is a better fit for my needs.

I really like this backpack and wanted to give it a full 5 star review. I can't, unfortunately, however it's not necessarily a bad thing. It's towards the co-manufacturer. Look, when you've got a great retail item that works, and this does for the most part. You don't put a strap on a great item such as this, that meets all needs that is so blah. The strap is a zero star. I mean, all you had to do was press strap the name Gluci on the strap making it a full leather strap, not one side leather the other some ugly material that is nowhere to be found on the backpack itself. The design for strap is a HUGE flaw on such a gorgeous backpack. I'll be replacing it with one of my own previously purchased straps. Other than that the backpack gets a full 4 stars. Hands down the backpack works for carrying just about anything you need it to. I was looking for a backpack, instead of a purse that would safely, securely hide any small handgun. This fits the bill perfectly. No more searching for expensive gun purses for me.

Bag is not flimsy like most; which is what I was looking for. When you set it down it stays without folding over. Very soft and sturdy. Very happy customer!

I’m in pharmaceutical sales and love this bag! It’s the perfect size to carry my iPad, notebook, and educational materials. There’s several pockets too!

GOOD NEWS & BAD NEWSGOODI have had this on my Wish List for almost a year and was so excited when my husband surprised me and purchased it for Christmas. It is very soft, durable and has lots of cubbies and compartments to separate and store your items. Size is great as well!Possible Improvements:1 - A longer adjustable strap to use over the shoulder or as a cross body as the one provided is very short. 2 - The ability to remove or encase the backpack shoulder straps so they are not visible when using it like a purse.DISAPPOINTINGThe zipper broke the first month I had it. The teeth keep pulling apart on one side near the bottom where the zipper starts. Its not over stuffed or heavy. Nothing is pulling on the zipper to cause it. I have barely used it. It appears to be a flaw in the zipper. I would have given it a 4 or 5 stars on Durability if that had not happened.

I was really impressed with the quality of this bag. It looks exciting as advertised and its feels very durable and not flimsy at all. I was astonished how beautiful it is in person. The backpack purse style has so many pockets and its a smooth and soft leather.Would recommend being careful not to scratch it with your nails because its easy to do that with leather. But overall, highly impressed and loved the marketing design and concept. This brand really has a strong idea of their product branding. Would totally buy this bag again!

Busqué por mucho tiempo una nueva backpack ya que la que tenía duró lo que tenía que durar.Me enamoré de la marca y al ver sus reseñas me di cuenta de que son productos de buena calidad que hasta compran lo mismo en varios colores y modelos. La verdad es que sus diseños son muy bonitos. Siento que seré igual un cliente frecuente.Me encanta que este diseño es formal-casual y cuenta con múltiples compartimientos donde puedes organizar todas tus cosas.Las costuras se ven bien y el forro no se siente corriente y se ve que al menos será duradero.Olvide en el video enseñarles la bolsa de enfrente pero también es bastante amplia, les dejo una foto.Les juro que la calidad y diseño no les deja duda de que es un buen producto y sólo tendrán dificultad en elegir el color. 😅Espero que mi reseña les sirva porque yo me base en las bilingües pero confié por las fotos y videos. Si la compran no se arrepentirán.

This backpack/purse completely exceeded my expectations. The material is soft and supple, there are a quite a few pockets, I love that that there are multiple ways to carry it, and the two-tone grey is perfeft for both casual and professional use. I bought it to carry my laptop around in, and if I had a 14” laptop it would have fit easily!! It’s a 15” so while I can do the bag up, it’s tight. And it’s not padded of course - I had intended to add a sleeve but that’s a no-go for how tight it is right now. That’s ok though, I knew I was taking a chance with a 15”! Buy this bag!

La verdad superó mis expectativas, está amplia nones muy grande la consideraría tamaño mediano y es justo lo que estaba buscando lo que más me gustó es que la puedes usar como mochila o en los hombros eso me encantó y el color morado wow súper buena, apenas me llegó espero y sea resistente.

I bought this bag prior to a trip to Europe for 3 weeks. I was only doing carry-on, and aside from my main backpack, I needed something that could hold electronics, frequently needed items, etc. I also just took it on a business trip to the US. I can fit my 13" macbook pro, ipad, wallet, book, sunglasses, glasses, and a bunch more inside. Lots of different pockets make it easy to keep frequently used items ready to access, and the zipped pocket on the back was great for the passport.I LOVE the fact that when I'm carrying my larger backpack, I can use the shoulder strap on this bag, and other times I use it as a backpack. Very versatile, very sturdy, has held up great so far (3 months and two trips later), and I even use it as my every day purse, as well as a great travel companion. I recommend.
