Easy to use to teach my son more about geographic locations. This globe also works well in his room for a night light too. It lights up fairly bright to help seeing different countries names and areas easier. I find the light up factor with my 7 year old helps to retain his attention over a just a map or plain globe as well. Cornered and plugs into a regular outlet with an easy to press on/off switch at the base.This doubled as a learning tool and also a lamp in my son’s room. Excellent value for the money, this gets a lot of use with homeschooling. Highly recommend if you’re homeschooling or virtual learning. Well packaged and would make a good gift for a world traveler as a lamp too.

I would really like the globe if it came with a power cord instead of a USB cord. The USB cord HAS to be attached to have the light on. This was a very disappointing purchase for me and my granddaughter. I bought this a few months before Christmas so I'm not able to return the globe.

I got this for my 86 year old Dad… With glasses on and lit up you can read it just fine.. Perfect size, not too big/small.. When the news mention countries, he wanted too see where they were located.. Perfect gift!

Looks nice and the light makes it so much easier to see. But 10.5 inch is too small recommend one size larger. A few spelling mistakes but overall fine.
