Has anyone used both this style aluminum ramp and the same ramp with the flat aluminum with holes?

Yes this style works better it has more traction when loading or loading especially if you have been riding where it’s muddy.

what do i use to step on to get myself in the bed of my pickup while pushing my bike up this ramp?

I use my stand to load my bike in. I just use it as a step to get it in the truck. Same with unloading, keeps my finger on the front break the whole time.

Will work for a big snowblower

Yes. I doubt the snowblower weighs more than my 500lb bike.
