I am a first time planter. I’ve decided to start growing my own herbs and a few veggies at home to avoid food borne illnesses and to also save money. I learned that you should only plant a few seeds because most will sprout, but at the time of planting I thought it was the opposite. The lettuce should take at least two days to sprout and it did, it just takes time for it to actually turn into lettuce. Every seed I planted sprouted and I was freaking out because I only had space for ONE head of lettuce. I plucked a few out to transplant (did a few because I thought some might die since I pulled them out of the soil) and they all grew just fine. I waited a bit to see which plant looked bigger and stronger and kept that. I gave the sprouts to my parents since they have a backyard so nothing went to waste!! I can’t say how they taste because mine aren’t ready just yet, but once I run out of seeds I will be buying more!

I swear this stuff grows back overnight in my aerogarden! My rabbit loves it much better than store bought romaine. No complaints from me! Sprouted in 24 hrs and within less than a week I could start harvesting.

I planted this and is is growing well! No problems at all.

Took less than a month to grow where I could pick this. If I knew then what I did know now I would have spaced out the seeds a little better. Impressed.

Did not grow all the seeds

I'm raising mine hydroponically and of the 30 single seed starts, 27 of them germinated. They have grown very well and taste great. I would definitely recommend using a fan and humidifier inside a greenhouse structure. It cut my germination and growth to maturity down greatly. I had sprouts in 2 days and edible large leaves by 1 and a half months, not 3 like usual. Love it!
