These are worth it

For running and other sports, these are a very good option, particularly at this price. The fit is excellent, both in the ear and the hooks around the ears, even for glasses wearers they are very comfortable. The proximity sensor is a great feature normally only seen in more expensive earbuds - the sound stops when one or both are removed from the ears, and resumes when they are worn again.The sound is good and, although the bass is weaker than I would like, more than acceptable for the intended purpose - these are sports headphones; they are not going to be your choice for general listening. There is a little wind noise when moving at speed but it is not overly distracting.The case is a little bulky and has a frustratingly odd way of holding the earbuds - it should be intuitive, they essentially go into the case in the same position as they come off the ear, but I find that I struggle to place them properly first time. Perhaps it is just me and I suspect I will get used to it.Compared to my running EarPods of choice, Shure Aonic, these are easier to put on and take off, and more comfortable when worn for extended periods. The sound does not come near the Shures but is still good. And they are less than a third of the price.

The ‘Energy Sistem Bluetooth Earphones’ are a set of wireless earphones that have been specifically designed for joggers and the like in mind.I was pretty excited about these earphones arriving as I go running most days, and always listen to music whilst I do so. I’ve got a set of wired hook-ear earphones which go over my ears and so stay gripped that way. I also have a set of earbud style jogging earphones, however, I’ve found those tend to want to fall out every five minutes or so whilst jogging, so I’ve pretty much given up on them.These hook-ear wireless earphones use both the silicone earbuds and the over-ear hooks to maintain their grip. They’re true wireless earbuds insofar as there are no wires at all linking them to either your device (e.g. a phone) or between the two earbuds.Set up was also very easy. Just switch them on and then pair them to your phone or similar device in the usual way (i.e. via Bluetooth settings) and away you go.Sound quality is pretty great if you ask me. Not exactly audiophile amazing, but for earphones which you’re likely to be doing active stuff whilst wearing, the quality is in my opinion impressive. There’s plenty of excellent deep bass, with bass drums definitely there and pulsing at the seams, constantly thickening out the music. Acoustic notes are also layered and natural sounding, which is always pleasant to hear. If you tend to listen to relatively complex and layered songs, say Technical Death Metal or something similar, then you’ll be able to pick out the deeper, less surface layers to a good degree. Not perfect, but for a set of mid-range earphones designed for active wear you’ll probably be as equally impressed.I’ve been using the earphones for not just runs, but also around the house as I go about chores or DIY projects. Every time I start listening to music with them on, I do think to myself they’re definitely not bad at all.However, for me the real test is how well they stay in whilst jogging. And this is the main reason I’ve given the earphones the full five stars available. They absolutely stay put. Lodged into your ear canal (without any discomfort or pressure), as well as the over-ear hooks just making sure they absolutely stay in place. And they’re comfortable. Properly comfortable.All in all, a very impressive set of earphones that are ideal for jogging with.
