Great for Beginners!
I got this as a gift for my little brother and he loves it. Remember, you do get what you pay for. This is not as good quality as a higher-end guitar, but it's not bad quality either. The ONLY complaint is that the strings it comes with are very cheap and don't sound good. We swapped them for D'Addario strings and it played so much better. It's made of wood, but I don't know if the neck was sanded down because the edge feels a bit rough. It's a good guitar for beginners, though, and a really good starting point. I would definitely recommend having some better strings ready for it, but other than that it's a great starting point!

38" Beginner Acoustic Guitar
We just got this Guitar today. We opened the box and were very impressed with the appearance! This is a gift for our granddaughter and she loves purple. This guitar is the perfect color with a beautiful gloss finish. There are other colors a person can choose from. The guitar has wire strings which is what we were looking for. It comes with a strap, a cover, extra strings, pics, and tuner. It sounds great and arrived in perfect condition. We can't wait to give it to our granddaughter. This guitar was priced very reasonable, is very durable, and comes with materials that will help any beginner get started. I would suggest that you purchase a solid case to protect this beautiful guitar.

It’s decent for beginners.
probably the cheapest guitar on amazon and it includes a whole kit. This was my first guitar and I’m reviewing it months later with more experience and knowledge. For the tuning; it stays in tune, but due to the “action” of the strings the higher tones sound more out of tune it seems. The action is pretty bad on the lower side of the guitar, but it’s expectable for the price. It’s a good guitar to see if it’s something you want to get into. It’s very light, small, and not thick at all. I’d say it’s playable. Paint is decent but nothing crazy, it doesn’t scratch bad or anything though.I attached a video to my review comparing it to a high end guitar.I definitely recommend for beginners! Biggest downside is the action it has.

Pretty awesome beginner guitar
This is a really nice starter guitar for beginners, especially for younger players or anyone wanting something smaller and easier to handle. We got this for our 3 year old grandson and he loves whamming away on it trying to play. The 30-inch size feels more comfortable than a full-size guitar for him. It has a clean look and comes with the basic accessories needed to get started. The sound is really good for a beginner setup and works well for practice. The strings and tuning may need a little adjustment at first, but that's pretty normal. It’s lightweight and easy to carry around. The bundle setup makes it convenient without needing separate purchases. I feel like this is a super good entry-level option to learn on.

Cool Guitar that my son loved
I bought this as a Christmas present for my son, and honestly it’s been one of the best gifts we got him. Since Christmas morning, he’s picked it up every single day to play. That alone says a lot.He was so excited when he opened it and couldn’t wait to start strumming. I love that it came with everything he needed right away, so there was no frustration or extra things to buy. It actually made him want to keep practicing, which I didn’t expect. Now it’s just part of his routine he grabs it, plays for a bit, and shows us whatever he’s learned. From what I can tell, it looks and feels like a true guitar, just a bit smaller. Not too thick to fit under his arm and definitely adjustable based on the players height. The size is perfect for him, it sounds good for a beginner guitar, and it’s held up really well even with daily use. It’s been really nice seeing him get genuinely interested in learning something new instead of losing interest after a day or two.If you’re looking for a Christmas gift that doesn’t end up collecting dust, this one was a win in our house.

Mediocre Beginner Guitar - Fit for Learning the Basics of Guitar Playing
This guitar is good for deciding if you want to commit to learning guitar. The strings and everything work just fine, so one can learn fingerstyle playing and chords, however, the strings are rather buzzy, and in addition with a high action guitar such as this, it is harder on the fingers to play.I used this guitar frequently for about 7 months before deciding that I would like to upgrade to an actual name brand guitar (like Fender, Ibanez, or Rogue). When I would put a regular capo on any fret of the guitar, the low E bass note would become flat, however, with no capo, the string would perform just fine. I went to a guitar center to ask about it, and they hadn't even heard of this brand of guitar.Final Verdict:Yes, the guitar is good value of money if you are looking to see if a guitar would be the right pursuit for you. Looks-wise, the guitar looks nice with a mix of basic and elegant. However, I'd only recommend buying this guitar if you are looking to see if guitar is the right fit for you. If you are looking to buy a guitar that will last you a while, you are better off looking elsewhere as this guitar is better for a trial run rather than a long-term commitment.

Returned Item
I could tell the guitar was returned, as the strings were in the box loose, some items were in a ziplock bag and the guitar was half "tuned" Usually Ashthorpe ships their guitar about an octave flat, as loose as they can be without falling off. Three strings were overtightened and three appeared to be untouched when the buyer gave up. I really had my doubts about the guitar, but I tuned it and it plays beautifully. My granddaughter loves the color! I just noticed this, but no fret markers. I have only seen this once before, having seen many guitars. This will give me a chance to try to be an artist and paint some in.

Not an adult size, made for kids
Had to return as I had ordered it for myself (an adult) and because it’s not well listed, it’s actually a child sized guitar. Was very disappointed, as I really wanted a pink guitar.
