CableCreation USB C to USB B 3.1 Cable 4FT,10Gbps USB Type B to USB C Cable

I recently bought the CableCreation USB C to USB B 3.1 Cable (3FT), and I'm thoroughly impressed! It offers lightning-fast data transfer speeds of up to 10Gbps, making file transfers a breeze. Works as intended.

After buying a new computer (from Amazon) I found I needed to join the 21st. century. I had several HDD enclosures I wanted to attach to my computer, but the peripherals took that USB 3 "big" connector. How was I going to attach these drives? I only had C ports (thunderbolt) on my computer left open. So with some trepidation in thinking was going to have a hard time finding a cable properly terminated, I waded into Amazon and boom there it was; I ordered one immediately, it arrived timely and it works better than expected. I ordered another and had the same pleasing experience! I am very picky about quality and will buy an item, often paying more to meet my pickiness. I am very pleased with my purchase, and would reccommend these cables to my best friend and all others. P.S. I can't verify the read/write speed as the drive enclosures are in a 3TB storage pool with parity checking. There is some overhead, but I upgraded to a powerful ASUS NUC PRo 14 (bought here); it doesn't look like there

Pros: –Length I wanted at a reasonable price –USB connectors on both ends feel snug –Seller quickly and honestly responded to my community question about whether the cable is USB-IF certified and does it fully comply with USB 3.1 Gen2 10Gbps data transfer specs. They said yes, package label shows Gen2 (see attachment). I asked because product is stamped “CableCreation” without any standard USB logo such as SS or SS+10. –Primarily using this with a WavLink docking station, original cable is USB 3.1, Gen 1, wanted to upgrade to Gen2 with Type C connector and free up the USB 3.1, Gen 2 Type A motherboard port for use with other hardware. –I would buy this cable again Cons: –Cable gauge a little smaller than I prefer, it is flexible, but functionality is what matters –Cable has not been USB-IF certified but that is fine so long as the product performs according to industry and category standards, certification costs can be high; having it does give customers comfort the product meets standards and not all sellers are truthful in their advertising.

So far so good. I'm connecting a desktop Hard Disk Drive (HDD) dock (the kind with an external power adapter) with the large blue Type B plug into a MacBook Air with USB C, to use as a Time Machine backup. I was using the original cable with an adapter, but this is a cleaner setup and I'm not going to measure the transfer speed but it seems faster than when using the dongle adapter thing.

This is as advertised. It is USB 3.1 Gen 2. The cord is well made. The connectors are attached well and the jacketing thick. It will last a long time. The connectors fit good. They are tight and do not wobble on the devices. I will buy from this seller again.

This cable fixed my issue with a disabled USB accessory, a USB device taking too much power. This cable is worth the effort. I was upgrading an old powered USB 3.0 hub with a new powered USB 3.2 hub. The old existing USB 3.0 cable would not work with the new hub. This cable works great and I highly recommend it!

10 foot USB 3.1 and it deliveres. Pretty good for 10 feet… I like cableCreation stuff, it's a solid brand name.

Hola, de nuevo. Si, el cable es correctisimo y lo usare cuando me compre una nueva impresora USB 3.1, que seguramente será mi conector del futuro. Pero por el momento uso un cable USB 2.0 para la vieja impresora que tengo. La calidad es buena y estoy seguro que funcionara bien con su correspondiente driver, ya que viene muy bien envasado.
