Fit perfect on my pvc pipe. Drilled a hole in the top and added a knob.

Fit like a glove.Those complaining it doesn't fit 6" sched 40...well...it's not supposed to.It fits the 6" sewer (drain field risers). These are 6" OD and ~1/8" wall.Happy camper after hitting with the brush mower, busting 2 caps, where these were buried in berries.

NOT THE RIGHT SIZE
I finally got around to use this drain cap on my 6 inch pvc drain pipe. It turns out all this time, it is not the right size. Too late to return it. The inner diameter is 5 3/4 inches and the out diameter is 6 inches. Whoever made this in the factory should get fired

Fits SDR 35 Sewer pipe
Built a 2 ft tall pipe to soak fence posts in wood preservative. This one fits the Charlotte Pipe 6-in SDR 35 Sewer Main Pipe which I purchased from Lowes. There are many variations of 6-inch pipe, so I was relieved to find the part fit perfectly.
