This 120GB SSD is replacing a 80GB 3.5” rotational hard drive. It’s small and light enough that I don’t even have to use a mounting kit to attach it with screws. It weighs almost nothing so 3M double sided tape is all you need. It’s faster, quieter and more rugged than the drive it replaced. It uses less power so if you’re putting it into a laptop your battery life will be extended. The system recognized it immediately and it formatted no problem. Files copied to it very quickly.

Satisfied with the product. It works as some of its claims. Sequential read speed is amazing but the sequential write speed is poor for an ssd. And a random 4k read/write speed are satisfactory for a sata ssd at its price. I recommend more research between the buyers review of WD, Kingston and ADATA in its price range. I include a crystaldiskmark result. Edit: Been using it for over a years and the performance is still like new. No problem till today. But seeing the price is still Rs.4100 in July 2019 is something I didn't expect, whilst all it's competition are below Rs 1700 as of now.

Yo necesitaba un disco SSD para un PC antiguo, cuya placa sólo soporta SATA-II, y por lo tanto tenía claro que no era necesario gastar mucho dinero en un SSD de altas prestaciones. Necesitaba un SSD barato donde instalar el SO y mejorar la velocidad de arranque / apagado y carga de las aplicaciones. Este disco ha cumplido sobradamente las expectativas; he vuelto a instalar Windows 7 en él y ahora el equipo, que tiene 8 años, vuela. Es un producto perfecto para renovar PCs viejos, mejorando las prestaciones. Si uno dispone de un PC moderno con controladora SATA-III (6 Gb/s) y soporte AHCI, yo recomendaría la gama superior (Ultra o Extreme) u otros modelos como los Samsung 850 Evo, que tienen un rendimiento y duración mejores.

These SSDs work well and don't break the bank. I used them on 7 PCs at work that were about 7 years old to keep them running longer instead of buying new ones. They speed up the PC so much, it is almost like getting a new one in most cases. These are not as fast as the Samsung SSDs, but they are also a lot less expensive. If you have not installed these before on a desktop PC, typically the Spinning disks are 3.5 inches and these are 2.5 inches so you may need an adapter if your case does not have 2.5 inch slot. I was able to just drill some holes in the 3.5 inch plastic bracket in the PC so that the 2.5 inch SSD would fit, so I did not have to spend any extra on adapters. If putting them into a laptop, these will most likely fit without needing an adapter, but definitely check with the manufacturer and check the thickness too. I have run into one laptop that needed a spacer to make the SSD thicker or it would not fit and would not make contact, but i think that is pretty rare (but this one does not come with a spacer). This one is 7mm thick so you may not end up with a laptop that requires a thinner drive, but I would verify with the manufacturer just to make sure. These do not come with cloning software, but I recommend doing a clean install of the OS anyway and that is what I did in all but one case and I did clone the disk from one PC that had been recently re-imaged with software that I got included with another brand of SSD and that worked great. I purchased 7 of these and had no DOA drives and no problems so far running them everyday in a business setting.
