Yeah it’s just a fan, but this is one of the few high priced quality options out there so I’ll try to help yall out.I bought the previous version in 2022, it had 4 speeds and a different “face” (the black part on the fan).The 5th speed on this fan is definitely a higher speed than the 4th (highest) speed on the previous version. I still have it and tested it, it’s obvious.The rotation on this one is smoother as well, the previous version sort of stopped and started with a sort of juke, left right fake when it got to the end of the rotation. This one has a smooth transition.It has a remote, never used it much but I’m sure some people love that.The “natural” mode it has is pretty cool.I’d say the 1-5 speeds are, low, medium, high, extra high and blow your socks off.It’s a really nice fan, looks good too.

One of my favorite purchases. It's powerful and quiet. The lowest air flow is much more useful than I'd expected. The highest air flow is amazingly quiet, and a real blessing on hot days. The range of speed from low to high is significantly better than other fans that I've recently purchased. It's bigger and heavier than other fans I've had.

Expensive but worth the money, quiet and excellent quality!

Perfectly quiet! This fan is nice and quiet, which is exactly what I needed. The highest setting is still just a low hum. It's not a really strong bowing fan but works great for my needs and keeps me cool. 😎

I've owned a lot of fans. Just about every brand out there and this is the best by far. This is my first Rowenta brand fan and I have to say I'm impressed. Yes, Dyson fans are very nice but also very expensive and don't offer the features that this one does.I had it assembled in less than 15 minutes and I took my time. I'm not sure why other people reviewing this have struggled with it.Best Remote: The remote works from across the room and at a good arc. Another great feature is that it will remember the last setting. It has all the same buttons as the on-board control panel including oscillation. This is fantastic when the wife complains about the air on her; you can just stop it from turning from your recliner across the room.The grille and fan blades are easy to remove for cleaning. The base is weighted to avoid tipping and the fan's stand extends with the push of a lever, no cumbersome lock ring.This fan's best feature is how quiet it runs. Only at its higher settings will you hear it. In what it refers as Natural mode, it is perfect for nurseries.I have to deduct one star from an otherwise great product and that's due to the auto-shutoff not initiated by the user which other reviewers have complained about. I'm puzzled as to why it does that.Only time will tell how well it holds up, if it doesn't I will update accordingly.

The best fan ever

Remote doesn't work and Rowenta does not stand by its product. You can buy a replacement remote from their website for $24, but they won't replace a broken one.I bought this fan in October 2024 because it came well recommended. By January 2025 the remote no longer worked. I bought new batteries, but that wasn't the solution. The fan works manually. The remote was never very good, the. It stopped working altogether. Spoke to their customer service, which to their credit did respond quickly. I told them my problem. Then they asked for purchase verification. Which I sent. They didn't respond. I followed up and they said their email didn't send. It happens. But then they said their warranty doesn't cover the remote.1 star. Never again. Very disappointed. I wanted to spend extra to get a quality item. I should have just gotten any cheap junk.

Quiet and lots of settings. You can’t to go wrong with Rowenta.
