Strong powerful light; excellent tripod; very simple set-up. Works great.
UBeesize sent me this light to review as I'd purchased previous products of theirs. I am a home-user as opposed to a prosumer. I use my iphone X for my webcam. My office is extremely bright, and without some kind of lighting on my face I look washed out and gray on Zoom. The UBeesize 16" is a great product for all these needs, and I believe it would be a great product for many who have high-end cameras and a more pro setup. The only way in which I'd judge the UBeesize as less than "versatile" is how really big it is. The UBeesize 16" is a large ring of light. And the attachment apparatus for your camera or phone is big too. The tripod is stable and well-made, but it has large footprint. If you have only a small space, this light may be a difficult fit. However, a major factor to consider is that smaller ring lights don't really work all that well. I ended up sending mine back, as did my partner, because they just didn't project much light. So if you decide upon a ring light, and you have a bright area to work with, this light is your best choice. We tried 8" and 12" ring lights and they were not really very bright at all. The UBeesize 16" is ... sizable, but it will project the light you need to make a real difference in the way you look on Zoom. If you don't know why you'd want a ring light, the answer is that it doesn't cast shadows. The light is perfectly even. If you've never used one before you will be impressed. This strength is improved upon by the excellent "warm" to "bright" light temperature settings. You really can make yourself look just about any way you choose to in terms of white balance. If this is what you want, and you have space for a big tripod and large ring, then this is the product for you. The plasticky remote works very well (with the caveat listed below). The light does dim without the remote. One weakness here, and I noticed it in other reviews, is that the *least* bright setting is still pretty bright. Be aware that when you turn on this light, you're going be working with a lot of luminance. I do not find this a problem, but if you are in a dark room this light might be overkill. One note: the "5%" button on the remote does not really work. Using the standard dimming control on the remote, you can get the light much dimmer.I am not in any way a pro, but this light seems perfectly adequate to suit the capabilities of a big camera. I'll leave it to those better qualified to judge how well the UBeesize fits a pro setup. From my amateur's point of view -- I feel confident with the UBeesize 16" that I can get whatever lighting effects I need. I really like it and I recommend it. Just keep in mind that having it standing there next to your desk is kind of like having a person standing there all the time with a big ring for a head. You do notice its presence in your office space.

ALL-AROUND EXCELLENCE!
This 16” Ring Light is AMAZING! I already own the 8” Ring Light Tripod Set by UBeesize and thought, for someone who is learning to do decent videos, the 8” is just fine for me. After all, the quality is great and the lighting is flattering. Still, I decided I would try the 16” Ring Light Tripod Set to see if there is any real difference. There absolutely is a huge difference! I took several photos to show various stages from the point of unpacking through phases of set-up and the light itself. The set is carefully and very well protected and packed in compartments, topped with a piece of Styrofoam and all placed in a box. That box is then placed inside another box. The instruction guide is one of the simplest, easiest-to-follow guides I have every seen. It includes accompanying photos for each set-up phase.I set up the entire Ring Light on the Tripod Stand in a matter of minutes, and without need to follow the guide, but it is really great to have if needed. It also includes instructions for setting up Bluetooth usage, downloading the app and using the light wirelessly and remote control usage. This 16” light has varying brightness, with warm and cool temperature lighting options. The light that this light casts is like natural daylight! The ring light itself is also adjustable to tilt as needed. Of course, the tripod adjusts in height to meet the particular need at the time of use. Any adjusting is done very easily by knobs seen under the touch panel.I attached a couple photos that show brightness at 100% and at 50% and with the ring tilted.I highly recommend this 16” Ring Light Tripod Stand Set to anyone who wants to look and feel professional. As a novice with video and Zoom, I find this to be a game-changer for me. So, I know for anyone who really has skills or wants to come off as though you do, this Set is a MUST! It really is exceptional in quality of lighting features and ease of use.I, honestly, I am thrilled with this Ring Light and am very happy that I decided to give it a try. I, actually, did not think I could be this excited about a light ☺ but it really is excellent.

Sturdy tripod and lots of settings
I really like this light - I have a smaller one that I like, but this one has so many more settings and a larger field of illumination. The remote comes with pre-set buttons to set to dimmest/50%/brightest as well as fine-tuning between those settings, and the warm to cool settings offer a lot of range depending on what kind of photos you're taking. The tripod is probably my favorite part - it's a super heavy-duty tripod with locking adjustments, and extends a lot further than other tripods I have (great for a tall person like me who often has to set tripods up on blocks to get enough height!) I have been using the setup for about a week and it doesn't wobble, my phone is securely mounted, and it's really easy to use! I think the only thing I would change is that it doesn't have a cordless setting, so you have to plug it into a wall outlet. Not a dealbreaker, but would be a nice feature!
