4 Pieces 1/4 Extension Drill Bit Set Wood Spade Drill Bit Extension, 6 and 12 Inches with 2 Pieces Key, Use with High-Carbon Steel Wood Spade

I bought these extensions to be able to use 1/4" shaft wire wheels with my screw gun. The different sizes are perfect for different applications and the built quality is good, I have used those a lot since I got them and they hold up just fine. They come with 2 Allen wrenches - one for each extension. A 1/4" shaft fits in perfectly and is not out of center enough to make a difference. Great value for the price, good design and they work like a charm with wire wheels and even smaller drill bits.

When using a spade bit to get through an 8 inch railroad tie. You can't use a bit smaller than a 3/8ths. The Screws to hold the spade bit in place stick and additional 1/8th of a inch. I knocked one of the screws off when it the side of the hole.It is a great help trying to screw something in a deep tight space.

This is great just keep an eye on the tighter screw it may come loose

these do not work well at all..They are fitting a hex end into a round circle relying on 2 tiny set screws to secure using only a few threads in the sidewall which strip out and let go with any minimal drilling torque..I needed to extend 30 inches to drill thru a stud in a wall.. Got it done but had to weld all extentions together to do it...including the spade bit purchased to the end..

Bought to work on outboard motors, very useful extensions to the mechanic's tool box

They are affordable but the set screws used to hold the bit in the extensions are not made from hard metal. The set screws easily rounded when using an Allen key to remove them. It does the job for the price but if you have tougher set screws then replace them. Removing the set screws was a bear. Works good otherwise.
