I had a need to separate 3 eggs at a time 6 times per week. I fumbled with the messy plastic-slot things that eventually broke, and I could not find replacements. Slotted spoons were only half-effective. It might seem a trivial thing, but it was really bugging me, man. This job ought to be simple, by now. I bought three of these separators. They are of a superb and simple design. They are balanced well enough to rest very steady and stable on a collection cup. The stainless steel rods are cupped and spaced just right to allow gravity to drop the egg whites into the cup. If that first gentle drop is not enough, give a slight swirl and the spiral design just unscrews the egg white into the cup. Then after use, I can drop the tool in the dishwasher, anywhere I like. Now I always have one clean and ready for use. And the simple task of separating eggs is fast and clean and hassle-free. I just stack the separators in the kitchen drawer, but they could hang on a hook as well. It was such an improvement beyond what I've had for years that I thought I should come back and leave some positive comments, after using them for some months. Hope these will help you too.
