Best gift I’ve gotten for myself in a while. The leather has darkened and softened to such a satisfying degree. I’ve used 5 different types of 3x5 notebooks in the cover. They all work great. How the pen fits has never been an issue for me personally. This thing lives in my back pocket. It’s definitely part of my EDC carry now. I recommend getting some mink oil as well. It preserves it nicely.

Don’t normally find it but this one works

As a former motorcycle racer, I have had the pleasure of wrapping my ass in some of the finest leather in the world, and although it is not quite as supple as Kangaroo or Lambskin, it is the finest I've seen on anything not going 200mph. It is truly beautiful with all of the natural grain and subtle color and texture changes that comes with real leather. The only reasons it doesn't get 5 Stars is that it smells a little "chemically" and it's kind of an in-between size. When I first saw it and read the description of journal cover, I was expecting a smaller diary size. When I got it however, it's just a larger size, but that size is just under our standard 8x11 paper. But a folded sheet of 8x11 paper fits nicely in it. And as for the smell, I am used to leather smelling beautiful and exotic, this one smells more like the tanning chemicals that are used to strip the hide. So perhaps they could do a little better job of cleaning that off. Because for me, one of the first things I do with anything leather is pull it up to my nose and inhale deeply. So just be aware of the actual size and you'll have a great cover. 4 Big Stars.

Was looking gorgeous a nice leather cover to protect the hardcover of my Moleskin Planner and this fit perfectly! Leather is great!

My main reason for purchasing this cover was for the pen holder and it was missing. The cover itself is beautifully made and looks like good quality however I am disappointed about the pen holder.

This leather notebook cover just melts in your hands! Quality is amazing. I ordered it for a notebook I bought on Amazon that said it was a B5 size. It was a very snug fit, but I think it’s because of the cover of the notebook I bought. Otherwise I’m very happy with it.Edit-I have now added pictures to my review with a regular composition notebook like what’s used for school. Fits like a glove!
