Great for Seasoning Food
Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt is the "Gold Standard" among chefs. Many people don't realize that there is a huge difference between types and even brands of salt. Table salt is fine for baking recipes and salting water for boiling pasta or potatoes.....it's small crystal structure makes it a good standard for saltiness.Kosher Salt, on the other hand, is used for seasoning foods. Diamond Crystal has a unique structure so that you can grab a pinch and season from up high and you will get an even distribution on your food without oversalting. It has no aftertaste.Yes, there are other brands of Kosher Salt, but Diamond Crystal is the brand that is recommended over and over by cooking shows and professional chefs.

Very pure, clean salt
This stuff is amazing.After doing a lot of research, I came to find out, this is one of the purest salts on the market. Not contaminated with all the crap from the oceans, industrial waste and all the terrible things we've willingly dumped into our environment.I drink it every morning with a glass of water. It's less 'salty' than conventional salt so you will probably need to use a little more than you're used to. But to me, this shows what real salt should be/ taste like.On very hot days, if I start to feel dehydrated and lethargic, I will squeeze the juice of 3 small limes, with a heavy pinch of this salt and some sparkling water. I kid you not, this will take away heat strokes or headaches very quickly. This same recipe does not work with regular table salt though.The box is large and I think, considering the purity, is great value for money.

recommended salt which was a great choice
I researched salts and found ones recommended by chefs and foodies. This was a great choice and you only need a pinch as i don't use much salt. It is a good quality salt, great taste, just the right grain size and is easy to cook with. This package will last me a long time.

Do we need flaked salt? Apparently we do.
It's salty, it's flaky, but I've not figured out why I need it. LolI got hooked in by a cooking show.

The perfect salt
After reading reviews from several recipe creators that this is their go-to for all recipes, this is the only salt I will buy. The flaky crystals provide more precise control and dissolve easily. Less sodium for health and better flavor. Definitely give this salt a try - you won’t go back to the competitors.

Salt school
I got sick of trying to convert Diamond Crystal to Mortons when baking and can't find any in my state so I ordered it here. Reading these reviews I feel like people didn't know what they were buying so here's some salt school, kids. On the photo Diamond Crystal is on the left, clearly more flaky yet finer the Moton table salt, which is very uniform, next to it. Another review said DC wasn't kosher salt because it wasn't big, coarse chunks is probably looking for COARSE kosher salt, the 3rd row. Yet another review said it wasn't pyramids like Maldon (the far left row), but that's because Maldon is it's own magical fancy pants thing and if you wanted Maldon, just buy Maldon. Now you know. Maybe the seller should have a picture of the product not just the box so it's easier for people.
