HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

Es una buena resolución y colores MUY nítidos... Pero necesitas una gou potente para esto, además de que el cable se quema si lo dejas conectado a la corriente, los controles tienen un diseño malo tecnológicamente hablando, si aprietas fuerte, el SENSOR se rompe porque hace contacto directo... Deben investigar bien antes de comprarlo, pero si pueden lidiar, es muy recomendado

I bought this primarily to play IL2 BoS. It's a flight simulator and I needed to upgrade from an early Oculus headset to improve resolution. I found the resolution to be excellent when using Steam VR default settings. However, even using an RTX 3080 fps was about 30. It's possible to get steady 60 fps with Ultra settings for IL2 graphics if framerate is capped at 60 using Windows Mixed Reality. I'm happy with that as it's a massive improvement on the Oculus. Only concern is a small sweet spot for resolution. Head straps could be better. Not much room to accommodate spectacles. Controllers are OK, but need to be visible to headset which limits freedom of movement a little. Not a problem for flight sims.

I tried the oculus quest 2 of a family member and I had to get a VR. I got the HP reverb G2 and I loveit is more confortable, amazing video quality and easy to set up fallowing a 10 minutes tutorial from YouTube. I saw a los of reviews and I Was worry about the tracking but no problems with the tracking I was playing minecraft and pavlov and the experience was fun and awesome and I got this used good as New for $400 and everything was in the box and everything looks New. Edit: 2025 I had the VR with the wires on the roof and today the video stopped to the headset. From what I seen they have a problem with the cable and the replacement is $90 to $120 I won't recommend this headset in 2025 unless you can get it for $200 some how in a good condition. Also the tracking works fine in most games I have play but for games with a lot of movement it's very bad of unplayable like gorilla tag.

The head set was pritty good and had minimal difficulty while setting up. You just need a good pc to handle the vr, I have a amd 590 and it works well 10/10 would recommend

The visor seems a little small for my head(I 'm Asian) Headset was good and easy to setup. Played DCS & MSFS. Yes, this is what I wanted when purchasing this headset. Delivery as earlier than expected (Thumb Up)
