Is this used like a regular shoe horn or can it be used to spreading the overlapping lower cuff over the forefoot on a stiff ski boot?

The boot horn site explains and shows the usage. It is used as a regular shoe horn, it assists with lessening the friction of your heel entering the boot. Insert the device at rear of the ski boot to the line on the boot horn, place foot in boot and Press into boot while pulling the boot horn out. See web site for boot horn or google. Works good
