For some reason I thought this would be plastic (I didn’t read the whole description) but was pleasantly surprised that it is metal! It was packaged with so much care and looks exactly like the picture. Great quality!

this is very useful for when you have multiple dogs or one large dog. It isn't painful to look at either! It goes great with my farmhouse decor and isn't tacky looking.

I bought this to hold my pup's food because I've been using a large plastic bin and I wanted something a little nicer. This is definitely a nice storage cannister. The lid fits well, but isn't difficult to remove. However, there is no way this will hold 40 lbs of dog food. I put a brand new 34 lb bag of Purina Pro Plan Puppy food in this cannister and it is filled nearly to the top. And this is the small sized kibble. If you feed a kibble that is more nugget sized, it will probably hold even less. The included scoop is not metal as pictured, but plastic. It wasn't secured in the cannister, and was knocking around inside. I was also a bit disappointed that my cannister had a pretty big dent in it. I wasn't expecting that, since the box itself was undamaged. I was able to knock most of the dent out, so it's not too noticeable. Still, you pay this much for something, you expect it to be undamaged. I'm knocking off one star for the poor packaging and exaggerated capacity.

My 40lb bag of Purina One dog food does not all fit in this container. But it’s so cute and matches everything! Very durable and easy to clean!

I absolutely love this goes in the theme in my kitchen. The dog even knows now that when I open this it's time to eat! Thank you for such a cool product. Shipping was kind of questionable was a bit beat up. But it's OK for now.

We have a new pup. And just returned to our summer home to find that mice had enjoyed our home all winter. I won't go into the absolute, horrific nightmare this has become... But I did not want my pups food being contaminated by mice ( we can only assume some are still here.. Oh how nice..) so this metal can w/ a tight fitting metal lid has given me some peace of mind.

Pros - it looks nice and even though it’s a thinner type of metal, I don’t mind it. It’s a good size to hold my dog’s food (she’s 40lbs and I always buy the big bags).Cons - It arrived damaged and I opted not to replace it because I think it’ll just continue to happen. They need to put a supporting element INSIDE the container so it doesn’t dent (see pictures). Before I even unwrapped it, I could see it was dented and once I took it out of the plastic wrap, both sides were dented making the lid no longer airtight.Really disappointing because if it didn’t arrived damaged it would be perfect.It’s a bit expensive for what it is so to not even pack it properly is ridiculous.I will find another metal/tin food storage elsewhere.

Was using a tote for dog food, wanted something nicer. This is perfect! Definitely buy!

Esta lindo, me gusta que se ve mucho más estético y ordenado que la bolsa de croquetas en la cocina.Creo que el material no es de la mejor calidad ya que me llegó deformado pero no fue nada que no pudiera solucionar moldeándolo con las manos.La tapa no es hermética, es fácil destaparlo, a mi no me molesta porque metí la bolsa completa al bote pero no sé que tanto conservaría el alimento sin ella. Mis perros aún no han intentado voltearlo ni nada parecido, ojalá pase la prueba 😬Vi uno de la misma marca en Home Depot y casi me infarto de saber lo que pagué en comparación a ese, aunque era mediano.Ya veré con el uso cómo se conserva.Pienso que aunque es estético y práctico para el precio podrían hacer algunas mejoras.

This was a nice looking container with a great size. We can drop the big bag of food right inside !

Came on time and is a beautiful container! I’ve had so many compliments on it. Definitely recommend. Keeps the food fresh and looks pretty.

I bought this beautiful designer dog food can to store 40 lb of kibble away from the insect damage that leaving it in the dog food manufacturer's cardboard bag exposes it to. On getting receiving the can I immediately filled it with kibble, and then discovered a peculiarity in the can's heavy black steel lid. It does not lock into place, but just lies loosely on top of the can. Perhaps I was sent the wrong lid, or perhaps a gasket is missing. But with the can now full of kibble it was too late to send it back. So my 'solution' has been to hold the lid firmly in place by putting a 7 lb jug of bottled water on top of it.
