Ammonium Sulfate - (NH4) 2SO4-10 Pounds

I use straw bales for planting my tomato plants and I apply the ammonium sulfate to the bales a couple weeks before planting. It helps to break down the straw and provide an appropriate environment for plant growth. I bag will cover 2 bales, adding a half cup a day.

The granules were a bit finer than expected but I got plenty of coverage using a Scotts handheld broadcast spreader set at #3 as another person suggested.

I have about 30 blueberry plants that I have raised in the pass 7 years. Towards the end of February I put a couple bags of ammonium sulfate / magnesium sulfate / zinc sulfate on top of the pine straw surrounding the berries. Old plants still producing well. This year I forgot. Spring was exceptionally cold and tough. I lost some plants. The one that made it didn't look well. In May I applied ammonium sulfate / zinc sulfate and the plants responded. Most of the stunted berries filled out. Harvest was way off, but there was one.

Much cheaper than buying Scott’s or other similar brands …I spray this on the lawn with liquid iron … my lawn has never looked better…. Great value Thank you Amazon

Solid packaging, and I like the finer granules (more like sand) . my onions love it !

This product worked great on my community gardening projects that included cabbage, kale, tomatoes, broccoli, cantaloupes, and garden beans and zucchini. I would definitely use it again.
