I'm looking for a 1m cable that supports the lenovo thunderbolt dock. their docs say specifically not to use a longer cable, but i really need to.

Hello, This cable should work fine with Lenovo's Thunderbolt dock. These are active cables that allow it to be longer than the typical passive 0.5 meter cables while retaining full functionality. Best Regards, CalDigit

Can anybody confirm these work with macbook pro 2016? do they get similar charging speeds from apple's own 100watt 2m charging cable?

Hello,Yes, they are compatible with the new 2016 MacBook Pro and support charging up to 100W. The Apple USB Type-C cables included with your MacBook Pro can charge up to 100W but only support USB 2.0 transfer speeds since they are not actual Thunderbolt cables. The CalDigit Thunderbolt 3 cables support 100W charging, Thunderbolt 3 40Gbs speeds, and video.Best Regards,CalDigitBest Regards,CalDigit

Will this cable work to connect a mac studio computer to the new mac Studio 27 inch display.

So long as the two devices have a thunderbolt 3 or above port, the cable will work to connect the two.

My cable came without any caldigit logos on the plugs. i bought directly from caldigit on amazon. is this expected? or is my cable counterfeit?

Contact Caldigit directly. Their website has a live chat feature. I have been very impressed with their hardware. I have observed with other hardware providers that sourcing cables in the COVID era is creating supply challenges.
