Very disappointed that such an expensive USB drive touting security features will not hold a charge no matter what working USB port I plug it into for hours. Contacted iStorage and they said to just ship it back, would not send a replacement. I don't trust this product for securely store any critical data and the nonchalant response from iStorage is concerning to me as this is to hold critical data. I'll be sending trying another product.

Nessuna analisi o sequestro riuscirà mai a violare questa chiavetta, per cui è consigliata da usare come wallet cripto. A distanza di qualche anno funziona ancora perfettamente e non accenna a dare segni di cedimento.

It has a pretty simple flaw that renders the self-destruct PIN pretty useless, and support doesn't want to acknowledge that. Basically, there are 2 modes (user and admin), which require different ways of inputting the corresponding PIN to use them, and the self-destruct PIN can be used only instead of user PIN. So, hypothetically, if a malicious actor is forcing you to enter your PIN, they can just force you to enter your admin PIN without risking anything. User PIN can have a stricter brute-force policy (you can set as low as 1 incorrect attempt to render the drive reset) as another way of protecting you from this threat, Admin PIN doesn't have that. Apart from that flaw, it should protect you from other threats at least (the drive being lost or stolen without your abduction). It looks very sturdy, and the seal with case is strong. It has a huge guide which you'll never remember, but locking/unlocking is simple.
