Yes, works with quick release axle without having to change anything. Super quick mounting of the bike to the stand. Literally from the box to riding on the stand in less than 5 minutes.

Q: Will this trainer work on an older bike without quick release axel? I tried a Unisky and the right bolt holder didn’t fit on my bikes’s bolt.

I have an older bike as well without quick release and it worked great! The bolts on my axle fit right in and I was able to tighten and stabilize without any problems.

Q: how do you adjust the speeds? Mine does absolutely nothing. :(

By "speeds" I assume you mean "resistance" against pedaling. There is a cable and a gearshift-like lever attached to the generator that must be attached to the stand. Make sure the generator's roller (shiny metallic cylinder) pushes against the rear tire, and turns as the rear wheel turns. If that is the case, then changing settings on the lever mentioned above will change resistance to pedaling.

NO- this will destroy your frame. Order a bolt axle to use instead of the QR they provide you with. Make sure you measure your bolt axle before ordering a trainer bolt axle.
