I had such luck with rodent and small animal defense, that I figured I'd try the same people's product for getting rid of lizards. As a mother of an almost three-year-old and being currently pregnant, safety of ingredients was paramount. I also don't want to harm any of the pests or anything else that may come in contact with this product, so this was a great fit.Coming from Connecticut, no one warned me that lizards (especially geckos) were something of a common thing to run into down here in Mississippi. I quickly learned this after moving here, haha! I love lizards, actually, but geckos kinda freak me out, and no variety is really welcome to hole up in our home. After finding geckos all over the house (in the garage scaring the poop out of me mid-workout, behind the pictures...also scaring me when the pictures were knocked off the wall, in light fixtures...scaring me when I look up to dry my hair and see a lizard stuck in there...) I decided we had to fix this. My poor heart wouldn't hold out with all these surprise visitors, haha. I sprayed this product around the garage door, the door leading to the house from the garage, and around all the doors and windows both inside and outside. It's only been a few days, but I can say I haven't seen any of our usual daily visitors. Usually I have to capture and release two or three geckos and put them outside, but there haven't been any since using the spray. I'm not concerned about my daughter touching the application sites (but I don't encourage it! Stinky!), and overall it's a nice thing to just apply when I think of it and forget it. Highly recommend!

I bought this yesterday after seeing the second lizard that was about 9in long in my backyard, 2 weeks apart. I am TERRIFIED of these things no matter how big/small. I’d rather see 100 huge spiders before 1 baby lizard to put it in perspective. I forced my fiancé to douse the backyard with this so called “lizard repellent”. Little did I know, it would bring ALL the lizards here. Do not buy this product. I thought I was fine to go play with the puppy in the backyard…no. There are multiple baby lizards now running around the deck.

I am very impressed with this product! Because I have a lizard phobia and live in Georgia, I have tried just about every product to get rid of them, from all those home remedies to professional extermination,all to no avail. This product really seems to work! My carport became over run with geckos so I sprayed this product all over my walls and they were gone. I had to treat it again a few weeks later because they began to return and they’ve been gone since. Also, I treated my boyfriend’s front walk going to his door because he had several regular lizards that liked to hang out there and one treatment made them pack up and leave. In addition to its effectiveness, it is not a solution of foul smelling and unhealthy toxins like so many other products I’ve tried. This actually smells wonderful since the ingredients are clove, peppermint, and cinnamon oils. A lizard actually got in my boyfriends house while I was there alone!!! After he came immediately home and rescued me, I sprayed this product quite heavily all over his house. I could never have done that with a typical toxic spray. His house smelt like a nice fall day, plus knowing how well this product worked outside, I feel confident no more lizards will be interested in moving inside with the smell of this is everywhere. I don’t usually leave such a long review, but after exhausting literally every other option to no avail and finally finding something that makes my life less scary because it works AND smells lovely, I will sing praises for this Lizard Defense ALL day!

I thought that most of the negative comments were mostly from very humid places and that perhaps that had to do with the effectiveness. But I live in the desert and don’t want lizards to poop on my patio. I sprayed a 6 in border around the patio, and maybe 10 min afterwards they were walking on the patio without a care. I’ve also tried cayenne pepper, and that doesn’t work either. Maybe this stuff only works on a specific type of lizard? If so, they should call that out in the listing. But it’s pretty expensive to be so ineffective.Has a nice smell though.

Noticed less Lizards. But they are still coming back. Good idea to repeat a few weeks.

I don't know about indoors, but outdoors this product is totally useless. I live in Florida and lizards are literally everywhere. I don't mind them, but I don't like the "presents" they leave behind all over my front porch which is why I bought this product. Lizard Defense has absolutely zero effect on lizards, frogs, or anything else for that matter. I've sprayed it liberally all over my front porch several times and the lizards completely ignore it. I have no more lizards than before and definitely no less. I also sprayed on my Cracker Barrel rockers on the porch and less that 30 minutes later there were lizards sitting on the chairs happily enjoining the Florida sun. I don't have an indoor lizard problem, but I can't imagine using it indoors and having my whole house smell like peppermint. Not a major problem, but it also slightly stained my porch which I could deal with if it kept the lizards off; but it doesn't. I liked the fact that the product was non-toxic, however, it is also non-working. Save your $40 buck and look elsewhere.
