These "JAM Paper #10 Commercial Window Envelopes - 4 1/8" x 9 1/2" - White - 25/pack" are true to size and color as written in their description. The pack of 25 envelopes came shrink-wrapped in clear plastic, and arrived quickly, as fulfilled by Amazon, with free 2-day shipping, undamaged in a manila envelope that was stuffed into my little apartment building mailbox, costing the decent Amazon Prime price of $4.49 (not including tax). (And believe me, I searched for a cheaper cost on Amazon and other websites, and these were the best windowed-envelopes priced with the quickest delivery that I could find.) They are GUM closure envelopes, meaning that you need to lick/apply moisture to the envelope in order to seal it; they do not have the adhesive strip for easy closure.I bought these envelopes because I currently have to send out self-printed invoices. And although I wanted a decent quality envelope, I also didn't want to pay an arm an a leg. I also didn't want to buy a bulk quantity of 50 or 100 (or more) envelopes because I don't believe I need that amount at the moment. Because I have self-designed/printed invoices, I needed to know how big the window opening was and the measurement of the window from the edges of the envelope in order to format my invoices correctly. At the time this review was written, this information was not included in the product description, so I had to look up the information myself. (The jampaper.com website - makers/sellers of these envelopes - don't have this information available on their website either, although they DO sell these envelopes in number of vibrant colors, FYI. After doing some searching, based on the dimensions of the envelope, I decided on a measurement that I came across that turned out to be correct.) The measurements and placement of the see-thru window, which has rounded corners, in the lower left corner of the envelopes are as follows -Distance from Left Edge of envelope to Left Side of Window: 7/8"Distance from Bottom Edge of envelope to Bottom of Window: 1/2"Height of Window (from Top of Window to Bottom of Window): 1-1/8"Length of Window (from Left Side of Window to Right Side of Window): 4-1/2"I've purchased JAM paper products before, and from my experience, the company manufactures very decent quality paper products and provides a very large selection of standard and hard-to-find paper and envelope sizes, styles, and colors. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase of this product as it serves my purpose as desired and the cost was to my liking. I hope that if I need to add to my current windowed-envelope stock, this listing will still be available at the same price (or less!) that I paid for today.

Exactly what I needed. If you are mailing a lot of items at a time, note that the flap is gummed and not a peel-off sticker.

These envelopes are as described and work well. They run through a printer easily and do not jam. They are not see through which is very important.

Sometimes a slightly bigger envelope than the standard size 10 is needed. This envelope offers a bit more space and is thin enough to smoothly glide through your laser printer. The envelopes happily arrived sooner than expected and appear to be sturdy enough to withstand the rigors of the U.S. mail service. Glad I have them and give them a thumbs up!

These are a perfect size if you need to send a legal envelope inside it. About 3/8” larger height and width of a standard #10 legal.The adhesive is not too great. You’ll want to tape it shut to make sure it makes it there. But that’s not a deal breaker for me.

I ordered this item because I was looking for a modest quantity of quality window envelopes, which I could not find locally. When I received these envelopes, I immediately noticed they were not nearly as heavy as the pricey 28 lb non-window envelopes I had purchased in a stationery store. On the other hand, they are somewhat better quality than the inexpensive 20 lb non-window envelopes I purchased at a discount store. The package is marked as JAM item 1633173h. The JAM Paper website says these are 24 lb, NOT 28 lb as described here. They're OK, and I will keep and use them, but I prefer to purchase items that are correctly described.
