Great for small jobs
I got this to clean out a natural area. It worked perfectly. Anything larger than what it’s designed for……. I need to hire someone anyway. I have very small hands so it’s easy for me to grab and control. Battery life is fairly short but that’s to be expected and not bad bc that’s how I scheduled my breaks. I would highly recommend this little saw especially for petite women since it’s so easy to handle

Great for this 64 year old woman
I am so happy with this! It is light so I can use it to prune the thicker branches on my shrub and trees, and because it uses a battery there is no smoke or fumes from gas and oil, and no cord to pull or choke to deal with or having to get the right oil to gas ratios. Also to electric cord to deal with like my electric one. I'm not afraid to use this, and I have total freedom to go as far from the house as I need. It cuts in good time and has done surprisingly well with some of the trees my son and I have taken down, limbed and cut up for burning in woodstove length. I wish I had gotten one of these years ago. We worked all day on one charge cutting down 4 trees. limbing them and cutting them into woodstove length logs. Definately a good investment.

Bang for your buck
I love Craftsman tools and I really like this saw. It works for the purpose in which i bought it which was to chop up tree limbs. I love that it is cordless and light. The thing i do not like is that it’s not super powerful especially when the battery is low. The charge doesn’t last super long (maybe an hour if you are doing a lot of cutting). The other thing is the chain keeps coming of the tracks. I had no problem with this right away, but once it happened it seems to continue happening. Kind of a nuisance…overall good for the money

Perfect for light duty
Works beautifully, great value, lightweight, easy to use and carry, long battery life, surprisingly powerful. It does leak a bit of oil, no more than other chainsaws, so don't set it down on your sofa.

A great little machine
This is great if you have other Craftsman tools that use the same battery. I have almost all of them including the wireless electric lawnmower. This is for limbing, cutting a branch, or even some roofing applications for quick cuts. If you try using it as a gas chainsaw replacement you will be disappointed but no fair minded person would expect it to be…
