Just want I wanted! Very sturdy & how we painted it turned out just how I wanted it !

I needed it for our church. It was easily staind and varnished. Heavy and sturdy. Works great for the use intended. Many compliments on the wood grain and how it fit with our church pews.

Like the drawer. I stained it to match the hardwood floors. Did great!

I ended up painting the base with Rustoleum chalk paint and a gray wash, then stained the top and added my own knobs. I like the finished product. It is well built. The drawers fit a bit snug. I might need to sand them down a bit.

Great products - have several. The wood has a pleasant aroma, is very solid, and as it is literally solid wood, the fasteners are "old-fashioned" bolts and nuts. The wood is sourced from a renewable tree, and is solid and will last. I can do decent woodworking, given access to a workshop, and my father is a retired carpenter turned furniture-maker, so I refuse to buy anything built of MDF or that has a laminate, as the disparity in quality between real wood products and compressed-glue/sawdust (which does have its place, I admit, and yes I know butcher-block technique requires an adhesive, too, but there's a big difference between sections that are 1-2 inches vs sawdust particles), is too great to overlook. This furniture is the right balance of being real furniture for a decent price.

We found this to be a perfect piece of furniture for us. Staining it was so easy as the wood took the stain well. Just be sure to pick a color that this particular wood type works best with. We are so fond of it. Sturdy and well made.

Purchased 2. One came with the lower shelf cracked. I had already started staining so I hate to return the whole thing. I would like to get a replacement shelf but I cant find contact information.
