My prefered tape reel.

I haul oversize loads and needed a 100’ tape.After a quick research, steel was the way I wanted to go for the sake of durability.I used to have Milwaukee, DeWalt and a off brand version. They all three had issues of getting mud inside, then causing issues from there. This one is spaced out enough I’ll still be able to roll it back up and clean later when the customer or time is a pressing issue.This will take a beating, people have stepped on it, it’s been thrown and not caught. It still works like day 1.I’ve cleaned it a few times just by using a soapy wet rag and reeling it in while holding firmly on the tape with the rag.Numbers are easily readable.The hook is still staying strong.Don’t know… If you want a great 100’ tape, get this one.

Sometimes you need to pull long distances and this product done the trick. Also seem very durable.

I use this professionally to measure outdoor home improvements and am used to these tapes not lasting even a year. I decided to splurge and try a steel tape this time. Definitely heavier than the standard tape, although not so heavy as to be uncomfortable. Definitely a lot more expensive too, at about triple the price. I don't love the end as it won't hook on to all surfaces when I'm measuring by myself, so that could stand some improvement. I will say that it has yet to get tangled and the reel works flawlessly. Keson is the gold standard for tapes and wheels though, so I'm hopeful this will last well, fingers crossed.

Been wanting a metal tape bit evem a 100' was to expensive. Built good and can't beat the price.

This is the best long tape I've ever owned, and I've owned many of them. Accuracy of steel tape with the ease of the large open reel.

The quality was nice. Needed a metric tape to layout a metric tent. It was a nightmare trying to convert every single English measurement to metric. Product is easy to use. Too bad this isn't standard measurement around here. Much easier than inches and feet.
